When you book a Sniffspot, you and your dog(s) are the only ones in the space. You're more than welcome to split the rental with friends, or plan a play date. Our Sniffspot is our backyard (attached to the house), which is about 1.5 acres of mostly open lawn... great for playing fetch or running at top speed! It is securely fenced with 5' fencing. There is seating, gazebo for shade, dog toys, and agility equipment and a dog pool. In the winter there are plowed paths. A separate, 8 acre fenced area is also available seasonally. We have three areas for you to enjoy, all are fully fenced and are included in the rental price. We have a fully fenced acre of woods with a trail that goes through to explore. It is accessed through the gate in the backyard. We also have a front yard and deep backyard, great for running, fetch and recall training. The yard is 1.5 acres and also fully fenced. During the summer you have access to two seating areas including a picnic table, gazebo for shade (seasonally) a 30 foot tether is also available if you would like to have your dog stay beside you while you relax. Water is available in the summer via the hose at the side of the house, the bowl will be cleaned in between each visit. For those hot days a splash pad is available through the Extra’s during checkout. All dog breeds welcome, reactive dogs welcome.

*Note Sniffspot charges USD! Our oasis is fully fenced (very high and private, no chance of seeing other dogs) furnished with lounge chairs, a picnic table, and children’s toys. It’s south facing and very sunny. We have a hard plastic kiddie pool which can be filled with water or not, to your preference. We have a driveway for parking and a green bin to use for dog waste. Please clean up after your dog well, our child and her friends love to play back here!

***Charges are in USD*** This is a 1.5 acre field that is perfect for off-leash and distraction free time with your dogs! This space provides apt enrichment for dogs of all ages. The space offers a combination of grassy fields, small wooded area, and a small pond for dogs to run and explore. There is a seating area and garbage bin for owners to use. This Sniffspot provides your dog the opportunity to just be a dog! When you book a visit you will be the only person on the property, so there is no risk of distractions caused by other people or animals. Please park in front of the big gates and enter the park through the green gate to the left. If you have a new pup that is having recall problems, or you have a reactive dog, this is a perfect stress-free environment for them to enjoy. They will be able to run and play without risk of getting too far, or seeing another dog. We also offer an assortment of agility equipment. Please set it up and return it near the trees at the end of your visit. We offer a discount to anyone with foster dogs, please reach out for details. I recommend you bring some insect repellent. All dogs are required to have proof of up to date vaccination appropriate for the dogs age. Only dogs allowed in the pond , no humans please. Price is $15 per hr for 1st dog , $10 each additional dog .

****IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD*** I'm offering the back 9 acres of my property in rural Ontario, off the scenic thousand islands islands parkway. There is a large area (1 acre) of cut grass and some trails through the woods to explore. I often see deer, wild turkeys, and rabbits and it is very private. Some areas of the woods have "valuable items" left behind by the previous owner (not my fault) who was a bit of a hoarder. I'm in process of cleaning it up but quite a bit is still remaining. If you see anything you want, let me know, no reasonable offer refused.

We signed up to Sniffspot to teach my son valuable life lessons related to business and customer service and he has really enjoyed the experience. However, I regret to inform you that we have decided not to provide Sniffspot services in the Spring and Summer months. We will re-evaluate in Fall but at this time we are blocking off any further scheduling effective April 01, 2023. Our reasoning is based on the damage that will inevitably be caused to our yard and the potential disruption to our surrounding neighbours when backyard use is more frequent. RIVER LOVERS’ SPOT IS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE…. We are overrun with Canada Geese. The nesting pair were welcome but the number that have moved in since are overwhelming. Their waste has made the site unpleasant. There are 50-80 in residence currently. The adolescents are 75%. Attempts to thwart them have not been as successful as summers past. I will change the calendar (and pics) as the move on. Summer is short!! UPDATE: We are awaiting approval by Dept. Environmental Conservation for ground changes. I’M ANXIOUS AND WILL POST WORD SOON…please be patient 🙁. Follow up 8/10/2022 With summer slipping away and things not changing on our waterfront, I’ve decided to open the calendar and see what happens. Things don’t always go as planned. The water is low. The shore is rocky (but not far in). The natural shore is pretty mucky. And there’s an old dock that needs to be pulled. Mostly cosmetic and negotiable with the keepers of the wetlands. DOGS DON’T CARE. Take a peek and see if it would suit your pup. We’ll be here next year but once it freezes it’s a “no dog” zone. 🐾 Dogs, bring your people and swim, run, or just watch the ships on the St. Lawrence. No fence but there’s more riverfront than road front. Our spot is small, quiet and your only distractions will be shore birds, waterfowl and fish. The shore is low rocks so good footing preferred. The water is shallow. The vistas are perfect. All dogs should have a river spot to share.
