There's a lot of good info in here. Please take a moment to read. :) The Play Yard is a large, open space at over a 1/4 acre! The grass (no mulch here!) is fully enclosed with 6-foot chain link fence and privacy screening. When you book your time, it is 100% yours and no other dogs will be in the Yard. *Please follow us on FB @Wag N Dash Play Yard* The concrete bench on the far end of the yard is naturally shaded by the trees. Plus there is a shaded area next to the shed with two chairs and a small table. The community toy basket includes balls, wubbas, west paw bumpers, frisbees, and tug/toss rings for everyone to share. *Extras: You can also add on a new toy for your dog, if you prefer. Please see photos for options and add on an Extra at checkout. **NEW AGILITY Equipment** is here!! I am so excited to have the agility jumps, A-Frame, and tunnel all set up!! Let your dog try it out and see what they think! You may have an agility champ in your house and you don't even know it. 😉 Please see the rules for specific info on agility equipment. Dogs love running through the tunnel, cooling off in the puppy pool (seasonal), and digging in the sandbox! Poop bags are provided and hanging at intervals around the fence. The water hose is available in the back left corner of the Yard and 2 water bowls. During the summer, the water will be HOT for a few moments. Please let it run before filling bowls, etc. For the humans, sunscreen, bug spray, and a first aid kit are available if needed. **Charleston weather can be tricky some days, so I offer a "rain guarantee". If you get rained out during your scheduled visit time, I am more than happy for you to reschedule your visit within 2 weeks. Also regarding weather, if it has been raining for multiple days in a row the grass can get soggy in areas. If you forget to bring towels, just ask! We are switching over to Fall/Winter hours. Play Yard will close at 7pm. We are trying out some new solar lights, and may expand hours if they work out. **Three more quick notes: •When you book a time you will be prompted to sign up for SniffPass. That is NOT required to book the Play Yard. You will find the "SKIP" button in the upper right hand corner (if you get the SniffPass "wall") or if you are automatically Opted-In at checkout you can simply Opt-Out. If you'd like to sign up, please do! I just want guests to know that it is not required. •I do offer monthly memberships. If you are interested, please message me after your first visit. •Due to recent property damage (albeit minor), security cameras have been added to the park. I really hope you and your dog enjoy the Play Yard. If you have any issues, please let me know so I can make it right.

HOST NOTE

Ant hills are the only hazard that I am aware of in the Yard. I walk the Yard a few times a week and flag the hills with orange landscape flags. I treat the hills with ant killer every couple of weeks.

The rules are posted on the entrance gate, but they are worth posting here too. 1. The Play Yard is for scheduled visits only. Do not enter without an appointment. 2. Be sure to clean up after your dog. Poop bags and trash can are provided. 3. Do not leave your dog unattended. 4. Do not allow your dog to dig holes. 5. Please do not allow your dog to destroy toys. Place toys back in basket before leaving. 6. Close interior gate and be sure to lock exterior gate when leaving. Thank you! Agility rules 1. Agility is fun. Do NOT force your dog to play if they are not enjoying it. 2. Equipment is for dogs only. Please no humans (kids, or kids at heart). 3. Please do not move the equipment. 4. Jump bars should be set very low when starting out. Jump bars should never be set higher than the dog's shoulder height. 5. Please try to discourage dogs from urinating on the equipment.

Hi, my name is Molly. I am the owner/operator of Wag-n-Splash (Indoor Pool for Dogs), right next door to Wag-n-Dash. I am blessed to be in the 12th year of doing what I love: working one on one with dogs that need to learn to swim, aquatic rehab, or just love the water. I opened Wag-n-Dash Play Yard 3 years ago as a natural progression for the dogs I work with daily who are selective/reactive. It is wonderful to share the Yard space with the SniffSpot community.

I have had my spot mostly closed for a little while due to family issues. I have started to open the calendar up more and more, however. If you don't see any time open on the day you would like, message me, and I may be able to accommodate you and open your desired time slot. The property is a small working farm on Johns Island with goats, chickens, geese and ducks. There are 20+ acres of undeveloped land. Approximately half of it is fields that aren't currently planted. Some of the fields are cut low and some are high grass with lanes cut through them. The other half of the property is woods. There are also several ponds. The property is perfect for training dogs to track or retrieve or just to let them explore.
