Description

Welcome pups & humans! Our fully-fenced dog run is a flat 60x30 feet area with low grass, dog toys, treats, water bowls, and treated with organic pest control for ticks and mosquitoes. Fencing is high for bigs, and goes completely down to the ground for littles! What we make thru Sniffspot goes to the care of animals we rescue! About 1/3 is shaded, Wi-Fi, covered porch and a dedicated shed aka “pup parlor” with sofa and chair to chill out in inclement weather. If added, we can set up the kiddie pool for your visit. Bug spray, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, and water for the humans. Pup playground is located on a 4-acre property (you can also have access to) called Graceland Meadows Animal Rescue & Sanctuary (www.gracelandmeadows.org) where we save pets and farm animals from cruel lives and needless deaths. The spot is named for our recently departed Rocco, our love and inspiration! Sniffspot fee goes to the care of the rescued animals. Currently we’re home to two rescued horses, six chickens, and four companion birds, located in their own separate enclosed areas. We have two rescued dogs permanently sanctuaried here for a year+ and possibly another one or two at times that we’re fostering. My dogs will be inside when you visit — unless you’d like your dog to have a playmate … in which case, happy to discuss and try out a playdate. If there’s anything we can do or add to make your time here more enjoyable, just let us know. Woof woof! 🐾 🦴 🐶

Our property is 4 acres and you’re welcome to walk your pup around. There is horse fencing but not dog fencing in other areas, so they can be on leash, or I have 50ft tethers where your pup can have some freedom but not run off!

By hour for daytime / $75-100 for an overnight depending on particulars e.g. time required, # of pets, special needs such as meds. Flexible to come to your home, or your pup at mine.

Splash pad too (ONLY if given verbal or written PREMISSION) Firepit available in winter if owner is home (ONLY if given verbal or written PREMISSION) Seperate spaces using 3' pet fencing. My dogs do their business (mostly) in the smaller yard, and are given only supervised access to the big yard. 3' fencing is rearrangable and can can be set up to help with multiple dogs, or keep smaller dogs seperate. Please be courteous the yard is clean. Please pick up after your dogs, and keep them off our porches. I can put out fencing to block them off if helpful. Feel free to message me. If I am home my boys are friendly and would love to play with your pup with an appropriate meet and greet. Kiba will tire them out 100% (he was a helper in the shelter playgroup, and goes to daycare with large play groups occasionally) Oliver is a little shy but all sweetness and love. Daycare says the shyer less playful dogs love him and he brings them out of their shell.

Human friends can take a break in the shade and watch for some of the magnificent birds that also visit the river while your pup is having the time of it’s life. Private parking onsite. *** This is a “carry in carry out” “park!” Please take your poop bags. I cannot have all the poop :) There is a park with a garbage bag 200 yards from my house if you want to dispose of it quickly. Right out of my driveway, 200 yards on your left. Pull over and toss the bag into the garbage there. **Back patio is off limits. It is not fenced but please respect this space, tables, chairs, etc., as my private space and refrain from sitting/lounging. Please also refrain from in using the swing set. Please do your best to keep pups from running through any plantings! All other space in front yard near the river and backyard grassy area and woods are available to explore! ***I have recently found a lot of poop in my yard. You MUST clean up after your dogs. If it continues I will have to shut down my spot. Please keep a watchful eye on your dogs and clean up their poop. I cannot police the yard after every visitor and clean up their poop. Be respectful of the Sniffspot community and just in general have respect and clean up after your dogs!!!
