Kristin's 13 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Greeneville

We have a 13+ acre property that is partially wooded and often visited by deer and turkey. Our neighbors have cattle, chickens and goats as well as dogs that can sometimes be seen and heard from the property. Parking is on the property pretty much anywhere. We don’t have a driveway yet. Please don’t park in the gravel driveway next to the property as it belongs to the neighbors. You can access the back half near the electrical lines. If it’s rainy or has been, you may need 4 wheel drive. There’s also a seasonal, shallow creek that runs across the property lined with trees and brush. The property is unfenced and you’ll want to stay away from the barn. The creek supplies loads of muddy, digging fun if you’re up for the clean up afterward. Enjoy ALL the best sniffs ❤️

Our backyard is fully fenced in with a 6 foot wooden privacy fence. It’s welcome to all animals. We do have caged ducks and chickens on the OTHER side of fence so they can be heard/smelled as well as the neighbors little farm. We can provide drinking water and waste bags if needed. Whistlepig Trails offers 5 acres of wooded, hand-maintained trails designed for dogs and their humans to explore. The paths wind through a natural hillside, with gentle slopes, packed earth, and plenty of interesting scents along the way. Maintained with care, these trails provide a safe and engaging space for dogs to roam, sniff, and stretch their legs. Located within a small, artsy campground, the space has a rustic, creative feel, with upcycled structures and a relaxed atmosphere. Sniff Spot visitors are welcome to use the restroom facilities during their visit. For leash-less exploring, that's dog-dependent. There are cats near the big open field, and if your pup likes to chase cats, then we'd ask that you kept your dog on a leash for the safety of our not-terribly-athletic cat. :) On the trails should be fine, but please make sure they're leashed in the parking area. Please note that it is possible that the neighbors dogs could make an appearance. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. :( There's a good chance you'll see other people around the property while you're here. We run a campground for visitors to Asheville and also have folks who live on the property.
