For your visit, we provide fresh drinking water, a water bowl, poop bags, dog treats and toys. 🐾 Welcome to Maxie The first private swimming pool in the area with spacious backyard to explore, designed just for dogs to splash, swim, and have fun! 🌞 About the Pool -Chlorinated and professionally cleaned weekly. -Pool depth & entry steps: The pool goes up to 9 ft deep on the east side, but most of the west side is waist-high shallow water. There are 3 wide steps where dogs can easily enter, rest, or leave the pool. -Dog life jackets in XS/S/M/L sizes, pool toys, and treats available. -Solar-heated by the sun through solar panels, so water temperature depends on sunshine and weather (not a jacuzzi or gas-heated pool). Many guests shared the feedback that the water is warm in summer. - Trees provide shade during most of the daytime in the backyard for guests to sit and relax. -The backyard has a mix of stone, mulch, pebbles, and turf, giving dogs plenty of textures and areas to explore. -A few extras provided: sunscreen, wipes, and dog treats to make your visit easier. ✨ Before You Book -This is a dog pool, so the focus is for your pups to enjoy the water. Even though we clean after every visit and run the filter constantly, dogs naturally bring in hair, oils, dust, and dirt. This is not a resort-style pool for people. -Please brush your dog before swimming to reduce shedding(brushes are provided) 👥 Guests & Dogs -2 guests included with the first dog. Each additional dog includes 1 guest free. -Extra guests: $15/person/hour. Please contact us before booking and we’ll be happy to help arrange! 🏊 Pool Rules To keep the pool safe and enjoyable for everyone: -Supervise your dogs at all times; no coach/lifeguard provided. -Pets & humans swim at their own risk. -No bathroom available, please plan ahead. -No food, treats, or glassware in the pool. -No peeing/pooping in the pool, please let us know immediately if your pup has accidents happen. -Dogs must be leashed entering/exiting; off-leash only once the pool steel gate is locked. Keep the pool steel gate locked at all times. -Keep noise down. no yelling, screaming, or loud music (quiet neighborhood). -Respect landscaping, there are plants, turf, rocks, and mulch; dogs play at their own risk. -Bring your own towels, no hoses, outlets, dryers, or shower facilities available. -Do not touch pool equipment, misuse will result in charges. -Pool cleaning is every Monday, there may be pool chemicals present. -Security cameras are at the entrance and backyard; footage is reviewed only for incidents. 💙 Thank you for helping us keep Maxie Pool fun, safe, and clean for every pup. This is a private, undeveloped, forested spot. If you are interested in this spot, you and your dog should be up for a mini adventure. This spot is not a manicured, backyard park. It is wild and beautiful, and a rare find in this area. THERE IS NO TRASH SERVICE AT THIS FOREST LOCATION. PACK EVERYTHING OUT WITH YOU, INCLUDING DOG POOP BAGGIES. The trail starts at the west (downhill) end of the parking spot, and winds downhill to the creek (there are a couple of switchbacks). The trail from the parking area to the creek is less than 5 minutes long. At the bottom of the trail, is a deck. Beyond the deck is a year-round creek with a swimming hole. There are fish, frogs, newts, and crawdads. All wildlife is protected, so please don't catch or remove them. You may walk up and down along the creek exploring, as long as you turn around before the bend that is downstream. The trail that leads downhill to the creek is intermediate, not for beginners or flip-flops. There should be no poison oak or ticks on the trail, but if you venture off the trail, you may encounter poison oak or ticks. There are blackberry bushes to the sides of the trail that resemble poison oak. There should be no foxtails. You may see wild animals. As a wild spot, you may encounter typical hazards that are present in most local forest trails, such as wildlife, water, and trip-and-fall hazards. This is a private spot, and there should be no other people or dogs during your booking. If you see someone during your booking, please let us know as soon as possible, so that we can take steps to prevent them from trespassing again. There is no lighting at this spot, so if you book before sunrise or after sunset, please bring a headlamp or flashlight. Maximum 2 people per dog. There is no trash collection service at this location, so please pack out any trash. Thank you!

Merlins 1/4 acre, fully fenced Dog Park in Boulder Creek

This is a 1/4 acre wooded parcel on my private 3 1/3 acre property. It mostly shady with the lower area being sunny. I live here, but not adjacent to the Dog Park. There are two buildings near the dog park. I live in a house on the other side of the property and not in the vicinity of the Dog Park. I do have a dog. She is with me at all times and inside my house. The vacant yellow "Butterfly House" bathroom is available for guest use. Please never leave your dog/s unattended in the park. Please bring them on leash with you to the house, they are welcome inside. The Green Building by the park is as accessory building and there will be no people or dogs there. When you arrive, you can either park at the Yellow House or drive past, up a slight hill and park alongside the Dog Park Fence, where you will also see the green building. Please do not park at the Green Building. That is a road that goes around the property and can't be blocked. No one will be driving on it unless there is an emergency. Water and toys are provided. There will be a fresh, water bowl for your dog/s that you can fill as needed for them. It has been a great place for my German Shepherd, Lily, to get quality run and exercise time. She loves playing Hide and Seek around the trees. We love playing there and hope you will too. For your first visit, I will greet you personally (without my dog) at the Butterfly House and make sure you get hooked up to the Satellite wifi. We do not get cell service other than the satellite. Fully fenced, hilltop yard with over 1.5 acres of space. Steep in places. We have trails, but be careful. Dogs do great. Humans can struggle.
