My dogs loved the huge area with lots of places and things to explore. Will sure book again soon.
Host replied: That’s great !!! Thank you for coming !
Super awesome space. There was just a lot of the fox tails from dry brush that we had to remove from our dog. There was also a surprise turkey on the property that drove my dog nuts (I think she enjoyed looking for it but we were more afraid of her catching it 😭). We could not find the water anywhere so we had to leave after only being there for 20 minutes. If we would have brought water or found it, we would have loved to stay the full hour. I can tell my dog enjoyed her overall stay for sure :) ! I left a ball there in case anyone visits and wants to use it !!
Host replied: Thank you !!!!
Our dogs enjoyed the space but we did have to block the gate with a plastic chair to prevent them from getting through the gap (photo attached) They are 85lbs and 115lbs and could still get through. We were hoping to let them roam while we read our books but were definitely not able to do that, but they had a good time nonetheless. The hills got them tired for sure!
Host replied: I’ll fix the gate as soon as I possibly can I see it’s a problem for some , for sure . I’ll post pictures when I fix it Thanks for visiting and for the feedback !
The main gate to the spot does not close, the space left by the wire closure. They were using left enough room for the neighbor’s lab mix who was already in the spot when we arrived, to squeeze out. We had to leave within five minutes of arriving, there were fox tails everywhere and food trash on the ground that my dog tried to eat. The pictures are not representative of the current condition of the space. While the host was friendly enough when we let them know that we were leaving, I think it is irresponsible to rent a spot out for dogs with something that is so harmful to them all over the space.
Host replied: Sorry you were so unhappy with your visit . It’s highly unusual that there’s would be trash in the ground - sorry about that The gate is not usually a problem As for the foxtails , we’ve been working on clearing the yard since all the rain . Maybe I will close the spot till completely clear . Honestly didn’t realize so many foxtails or even how troublesome they are . I did do research and found some good information on how to check your dog and also keeping their hair short to prevent picking them up , but I completely understand your concerns Thank you for feedback , sorry you had a bad experience
Good space and fenced.
My dog always has a blast here!
Host replied: Glad to hear ! Thank you so much !!
My dog loved the area! The area was pretty overgrown but it was no problem for my big dog. Would come again!
Host replied: Thank you so much !!! We’re working on the overgrowth - it rained so much we couldn’t get a break ! Thanks for the feedback and hope to see you again !!
The vegetation is knee high after the rains so it's a little hard to navigate. But the dogs had a lot of fun scrambling up the steep hill and climbing on boulders. They are small dogs so the grass was taller than them but they didn't seem to mind lol. They had a good sniff around and exploring up the hill. Even the 10 lb chihuahua was clambering up the boulders. They went home very tired.
Host replied: Thank you so much for visiting !!! Glad they had fun !! We started taking care of the overgrowth this weekend now that the rain has stopped ;)
Amazing place for a sniffspot!
Host replied: Thanks so much
Nice space but much more overgrown than the pictures. We didn’t end up staying because we were worried about foxtails and I sure wasn’t walking in there (was almost up to my knees) and there was an open area with an approx 6 ft drop above their patio that my crazy German Shepherd would have jumped off of.
Host replied: Thanks for your visit snd feedback Wasn’t sure what’s your were referring to at first , but looking into what was noted and making changes ;)
