Description

We have a beautiful secluded property on the Sespe Creek in Fillmore. We have acres of orange trees and two fully fenced areas. One is a fenced 100 x 200' sand arena with access to water and shade. In this arena there may be a small amount of sheep droppings if we have been training the dogs for sheep herding. There is a second arena that is 80 x 120' with agility equipment and the sheep don't go in that area. Dogs can play off leash and stretch their legs in either area. Please do not move the agility equipment around. You are also welcome to make your way down to the creek and let your pup swim and play. Outside of the fenced arena you are welcome to wander in our orange orchard at the bottom 1/2 of our property but please don't approach any residences or allow your dog to bother the livestock. There are sheep in a fenced area and Tank, our livestock guardian dog, lives with them. *Please note - The sand is pretty soft and dogs love to dig in it. They are welcome to dig but please fill in any holes they dig (it’s as easy as dragging the sand back into the hole with your foot) because they create a tripping hazard for other dogs and people.

Please do NOT enter at 2492 Grand Ave. that is All Dogs Rule, our boarding kennel. Look for the Sniffspot signs at 2592 Grand Ave. Go all the way to the back of the property (ignoring the rock painted 2592 which leads to a private residence). There are signs to help you find your way around the property. Please respect the No Sniffspot signs they will help to keep you away from the livestock, guardian dogs and private residences.

I have been involved in the dog community since 1989 when I got my first Border Collie. I competed in agility with my Border Collies for 20 years and traveled all over the USA and competed for US Agility Teams in Europe several times. In 1999 I bred my first litter of Border Collies and was named AKC Breeder of the Year for Agility in 2014. Since 2001 my husband Russ and I have been taking care of all breeds of dogs when their owner's go on vacation or need caretaking with our All Dogs Rule boarding facility located on our Fillmore CA ranch.
