Easy to find. Lots of sniffs for pups & sights to see for humans. We live nearby & came from 6-7pm. The temp dropped from 85 to 76 degrees which was nice and the property was all shaded. As the sun went down, the solar lights went on and it was gorgeous.
I have a 10 1/2 yr golden retriever mix and a 15 year yr old cocker spaniel mix. Both had a good time. For big pups that like to sprint fast and far and run and catch balls, this definitely ISN'T that place. There is a straight drop down the cliff at the end of the property without a fence so I could see it as a possible danger for some dogs (not mine, but we did have to yell at our big girl to get away when she got too close) But if you have dogs that like to explore and take the time to smell, then this is great for them.
There is a really nice chicken coop with chicken that my polite dogs checked out.
There were plenty of places to sit. Dogs had access to fresh water & milkbone treats. If you meditate, this is your place. Very peaceful with great views We (husband, me & two pups) had a really nice time.
Very clean. Just note that it's all dirt with dried plants & burrs. It's not too bad, but I did spend some time taking burrs & spiky twigs out of my dogs fur & paws. Surprisingly, I didn't see any foxtails which was a blessing.
This was our first sniffspot visit so I have nothing to compare to but I am pleased with our first experience. Thanks Stacia!

My daughter and Sosuke had a great time playing hide and seek! It is a very nice clean yard and so peaceful with a lot of nice seating area’s and personal touches. However if you’re going for high energy larger dogs it doesn’t quite have the length we needed for ball throwing, keep in mind though we have a border collie and our needs to be able to sleep at night are way different then most. Can’t stress enough how nice and quiet it was though and still think it’s a great yard for numerous dogs and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

FAQ about our Simi Valley dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.

While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 97% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Simi Valley area are 5 stars.
