Payton’s playground is a spot where you can spend personal time with your dog by yourself without having to worry about others intruding in on your play session. We have agility equipment, pools, ramps, weaving poles, water bowls and more available at your disposal. It’s a great environment to be in & is directly adjacent to one of the best doggy daycares in Chicago, PupStars Pet Care. A Spot To Sniff

Open field backing directly up to 394. 225 ft of tie out, up to 250 lbs, so your furbaby remains safe while able to freely play and sniff around. 12×24 outdoor fenced play kennel with locking gate is also available for use. Small table and chairs are provided, as well as a pet waste receptacle to throw your bags away. Please enter backyard by using the entrance on the North side of the house and proceed to the North side of the kennel, directly back to Sniffspot sign. There is a firepit outside you are more than welcome to use, please bring your own wood. Cold beverages and chips are also available for purchase on-site. No restrooms avail onsite, however, BP gas station is just down the street. Security cameras monitor the property. Welcome and Happy Sniffing :)

*Discounted Winter Pricing* Welcome to our suburban homestead. We have three dogs, two cats, chickens, and honeybees. We love animals and want to share our fully fenced, private yard with yours. Our dogs will be kept in the house, our chickens will be in their coop, and don’t be afraid of the honeybees, they are not very active this time of year. Come bring your fur family to my little urban farm! We are a fully working farm so there are some ugly corners but lots of space to run free, dip in the little pool and play fetch!

Notice: We are closing the spot on May 23rd for maintenance. Sorry for the inconvenience. Grass and rain: Please keep in mind that during moderate to heavy rains the area without mulch can get muddy. Beginning May of 2024, we will post pictures daily to our Instagram account showing the condition of the spot. As you can imagine, due to the wear and tear the spot gets, it’s difficult to keep the grass alive. However, we do our best to reseed during the spring. BarkPark sits right across the street from The Salvation Army Freedom Center. This spot is fully fenced (chain link and wood) with the side facing the sidewalk being 5ft and the rest of the fence being 6ft. There is a dual-gate entrance to the spot for a safe entry and exit. Street parking is available. There is plenty of seating at this spot with shade throughout the day. There's a rain barrel filled with water for dogs to hydrate and cool down. We have water bowls available. GIANT sandbox that's great for digging and playing; no digging elsewhere please. On hot days, we do our best to keep the sand wet. Trash can onsite. We have poop bags available in two different areas for easy access. Half of this spot is covered with grass and the other half with playground mulch. This spot is big enough to get a good fetch session in or to just let the zoomies out. We also recently added agility equipment. We hope you and your four-legged friend/s have an exceptional time during your visit and choose to come back. Lost toys and items: Due to the amount of visits we get we aren’t able to track which items belong to which guest. If you’ve lost a dog toy or other item, please reach out and we’ll do our best to retrieve it and hold it for you. If you don’t reach out, we’ll hold onto it for a week and then add it to the Lost and Found Toy Box. Water: The dog drinking water gets changed 1-2 times per week, depending on the temperature/usage. During the winter months we empty the water barrel. If your dog/s require water during the winter months, we ask that you please bring your own. Food: You’re welcomed to bring food but we ask that you please clean up as a courtesy to other guests. Future additions: We hope to add more amenities over time. Our plans are to add more sand to the sandbox in late April or early May of 2024. We’re also hoping to have on-site parking around mid summer of 2024.
