Description

Welcome to Santa Family SniffSpot, located on Santa Claus Drive in beautiful Christmas Valley. Our private 1/4-acre yard is fully enclosed with a 6-foot wooden fence, giving dogs a safe place to run, sniff, and decompress away from busy dog parks. The yard offers lots of room to run, plenty of balls and toys, and open play space, plus a swing set and shaded seating for humans. Occasionally dogs may notice wildlife like chipmunks or squirrels, but there is no interaction with other dogs. Amenities include agility equipment, rally training signs, crates, dog beds, and extra dog gear such as leashes, collars, clothing, and shoes. Guests can relax in the propane fire seating area, BBQ grill, and shaded table with seating. A professional dog trainer lives on site, making the space great for training practice, reactive dogs, or simply giving dogs a peaceful place to be dogs. There is also a quiet casita area available for guests who may prefer a calm private place to sit, including elderly visitors, nursing mothers, or neurodivergent guests. (Please note there is currently no bathroom on site.)

This 21 acre farm is at your disposal. It’s rugged but a great place to let your pups run around. Please bring your own bags, some may be available. It is more or less fully fence we do share the lower side of the property with neighbors some of which have animals. Upon entry at the corral gate off Snows Road perpendicular to Roosevelt Avenue, a bicycle lock code is 0901. Close and lock the gate behind you. Bring your own bags sunscreen, and hiking boots are recommended or ones you don’t mind getting dirty. Please note that wildlife exists on the property, including foxes, dear, and the occasional bear. Pair an apple trees are available and there’s a box for donations in case you want to pick some to take home. It is recommended for dogs to stay on the dirt paths already created. Please note there are beehives on the property. We’re happy to answer any questions you have about the property. As someone who volunteers for the animal shelter, I know how important it is for reactive dogs to have a place of their own. We will never bother you while we are on site however, we do expect good communication about entry, arrival and leaving the property. We follow Leave No Trace principles and try to leave the property in better shape than how we found it.
