Description

Fully fenced yard with 6ft vinyl fence on 3 sides of the yard - 1 section of fence is 3ft chain link. Yard is level with shade from one large maple tree. Porch area offers table with cushioned chairs, and bar top/metal bar stools. Moblie cloth hammock in yard availble on request when not out. Free Wifi availble for working while watching your pup play. The poop scoop is located in the corner of the yard near the gate and the green trash can at the front of the driveway is for waste. Thank you!

Small yard. Gap where dogs can get out. Was clean. Didn't have a place to sit.. Nice that you offer a space for dogs to come. Thank you. Don't think we will be back.

This was a great spot for my dog to roam around and get some off leash exercise in. The yard is a great size for a city home and was very clean. The back porch was an ideal spot to sit back and relax while having a great view of my dog at all times. Having a water bowl, poop bags and Wi-Fi available were great perks! Will definitely come back.

I know that with sniff spot, it is unrealistic not to expect any poop in the yard. But the amount in the yard is just sooo much. I wanted to play with my dog without us both stepping in poop so I ended up picking up 6 bags full of poop, and still found piles everywhere. After our visit I need to wash my shoes, my dog, and the toys we brought because of all of the left over excrement. I am unlikely to return to this spot, unfortunately.
Host replied: Hi Cat - I'm sorry for your poor experinece. I was already heading out for the day when I receieved your booking (I probably should have canceled it) the yard was not prepared. I've cleaned the yard and freshly raked it. It is ready for the next guest. I hope you'll reconsider visiting my spot again soon. Thank you, Michelle

My pup Louie had a wonderful play date in Michelle's backyard. The lot, which is much large than my own backyard, was clean and a nice size for a home within the city. Plenty of space for zoomies. The back porch is elevated, giving us a nice view of the dogs playing as we sat on the porch. I'd recommend this snifspot for any dog parents looking for a space that is open and clean but doesn't have the hustle of a typical dog park.

Was a very nice spot to enjoy with my dogs. Beautiful porch to sit at. My dogs haven’t gotten out off leash in a couple of days so they needed this.

The yard was nice and clean. I know some hosts provide toys and poop bags and some provide that stuff. There weren’t poop bags, and though the trash can was outside of the fence, there weren’t poop bags and where the host wanted them wasn’t clearly marked. Other than that, the yard was fine, though probably better for smaller dogs, I have the big dogs, so it wasn’t quite enough yard for us.
Host replied: Hi Leila - I'm sorry for the confusion. The poop scoop is located next to the gate at the front of the yard. The Green trashcan is for waste and I'll be adding baggs to the fence post near the gate soon. Thank you, Michelle

K9 Corner - Private Dog Run in Webster Groves

This is a privately owned empty residential lot (not a backyard). Property is a “pie shape” approximately 2,000 sqft. Fenced section is approximately 130’L with one end at 30’W and the other end at 6’. Entrance is at the corner of Atalanta Avenue and Glen Road. Street parking is on Glen Road (long fence side). The city does not allow signs (see photos for more clarification). This is a self regulated private dog park / dog run similar to a regular dog park. There is not water on site however a bowl will be left on site (typically inside the toy box to keep it clean). A pet waste station is available along with a “used” poop bag can, trash receptacle, and some dog toys. Please remember to clean up after your dogs, put away toys, and throw away trash. Pesticide free - consider bringing bug spray. To keep moles away, mole spikes that vibrate in the ground are in use and you can hear a buzzing noise. The sand pit / tire area is for digging - please try to keep all digging isolated to the designated area only and try to fill in any holes dug by your dog outside of the pit area. Sun sail is up during spring/summer months only - that’s what the poles are for - no climbing please (currently the sun sail is not being used per the city requests). There is a 5 dog max. We prefer no more than 2 humans to 1 dog. If you are considering a dog birthday party or larger social meetup, please contact us. We are also open to happy hour social gatherings, yoga, painting, and other type of events; please contact us to discuss. **This spot is not a business to make money for profit. All proceeds are considered donation for upkeep of the dog run, lawn maintenance, dog toys, etc. If you have questions/comments/concerns, please text 314-384-2279.**

	Only one booking is allowed at a time at any spot and there is an enforced 30 min buffer between all bookings to ensure dogs in separate bookings do not meet.
	This spot is set for Booking, which means you will be instantly confirmed for any booking you request. You will receive the address and access instruction immediately following booking.
	Visits can be moved or cancelled up to 2 hours before a visit.
	Visits can be extended and dogs can be added throughout the visit.
