We do frequently see wildlife - eagles, hawks, feral cats, turtles, deer, etc. Please keep a very close eye on small dogs. Large prey birds may get the wrong idea. If you plan to take the trail around the lake, please note that it is a work in progress and there is some discarded material from before we owned the land. There are breaks in the fence around the trail, so a leash is recommended for dogs with less training. You may enter the backyard from the gate at the end of the concrete pad.

He is a friendly beagle that walks the lake several times a day. He cannot get on the fence. He doesn't want in the fence. He just wants to complete his walk. Please do not try to rescue him. He has a loving home. During the winter the water is off to our camper. This means no toilet until spring. You will see tons of wildlife which includes deer, foxes, beavers, turkey, and every bird native to Missouri. The 3 gates are cattle panels with 4 inch squares. A smaller dog could get through.
