55We always have the best time, there is plenty of room for your pup to explore. This is one of our favorite sniff spots and the host Nicole is very accommodating. If you are worried about the chicken coop there is still a gated area where you can run your pup!
55Beautiful and clean property! All the amenities were lovely and my pup had a great time here! Looking forward to coming again!
55Huge, clean yard! Toys for the dogs were available. Humans and dogs were comfortable and had a wonderful time! Will absolutely be back again!
55This place was easy to find and instructions for getting in were clear. Flower had a blast running around playing fetch, there was plenty of space for her to run in multiple directions. She loves hanging out in the shade under trees when she's not chasing balls and there was plenty of good spots for her to do that. The host greeted us upon arrival and pointed out the water and gate. Lots of great sniffs to be had, we will be back for sure!
55We absolutely loved this spot. There's plenty of room for playing with the chuck it and the dogs loved it. Janine was lovely and made sure there was plenty of waste and toys to play with! We will be back!
55Gorgeous and spacious yard with plenty of natural shade, thanks to the many established trees around the property. Very friendly and personable host. Will definitely be back!! :)
55Absolutely loved this place! Loved how spacious it was and how warming and welcoming it was for our pets. Both our huskies ran around and even just laid there enjoying the spacious yard. Definitely will be back! 😊
55Big, beautiful yard. Perfect place for us to let Odie run. Fully fenced with water and toys. Host was very kind and welcoming.

Description

We will hopefully be reopening sometime early next year. Park like fully fenced acre for your pup to roam and sniff all the things. Lots of trees mean large shaded areas at all times of the day. Relax on the custom made Adirondack chairs and bench, or hang out on the covered porch while your dog plays. Multiple fruit trees on site that you are welcome to sample from. Cherries, blueberries, plums, apples, and Japanese pears. Water bowl is on the deck, but let us know if you have a dog that will have difficulty with stairs and we can move it into the yard. We will be shut down indefinitely starting mid June due to a deck rebuild and yard reseeding. We will reopen as soon as possible once the new seed takes hold.

Cleanliness

100% of guests said this spot was as clean as expected during their visit.

Hazards

Wood shed just inside the gate. Deck has no railings. Occasional mushrooms in the yard during the rainy season. Fruit trees on property, so there will be fruit and seeds on the ground during fruit season.

Embark on an Enchanting Forest Adventure at Wonderlane World Famous Sniffspot for Dogs and Their Best Friends - Unleash the spirit of adventure and let your beloved dogs frolic in the lush embrace of the Pacific Northwest’s natural rainforest. Wonderlane beckons you and your best pals to explore 66 years of history across 2 acres of verdant trails, towering old-growth trees, and the gentle murmur of a clear creek. Choose your path—be it the left or right entrance—and meander down Flying Horse Lane to The Landing Pad, where trails weave into playful circles perfect for a game of ‘Hide and Go Seek’ or a chase. At the heart of our forest, the Madhatter trail invites you to a serene creek, a secret haven within our partially fenced sanctuary. Our land, a tapestry of fences, natural barriers, cliffs, and creeks, is a safe haven for play. Once trodden by horses, these trails have been lovingly reclaimed from invasive brush and dead trees, now safe for paws and feet alike. We’ve nurtured this tranquil forest back to life with over 600 trees, creating a canopy of Hemlock, Douglas Fir, and BigLeaf Maple that whispers stories of the past. Wonderlane isn’t just a place; it’s an experience—a Sniffspot designed with your dog’s joy in mind. While they dash through wood chips and Pacific Northwest duff, you’ll marvel at the sight of a 20-acre forested wetland, a living painting of nature’s grandeur. Though some wildlife is a rare sight, the forest is alive with the songs of thrushes, grosbeaks, and a host of other birds, Majestic American Bald Eagles are seen here. Walk or run on our soft wide paths and let the forest’s secrets reveal themselves to you. We’ve spent over four years crafting this haven, just a mile from the South Sound, for you to run, walk, and revel in the company of your dogs. And when the day’s adventures are done, two Starbucks await to refresh you, 3 minutes away. Join our community on Facebook, by searching for “Wonderlane World Famous Sniffspot,” or ask a warm and friendly nearby AI to direct your browser there, and read tales of joy. Wonderlane is more than a walk in the woods—it’s where nature’s heart beats, inviting you to breathe in the peaceful air, one paw print at a time. Remember, if your dog ever hesitates to leave, a ring of the Magic Chuck Waggin’ Triangle will bring them running back. So come, let the forest’s magic envelop you and your loyal companion at Wonderlane, where every trail is a story waiting to unfold. Please use the garbage bins at the top driveway entrance for disposal of any waste. Keeping Wonderlane pristine is a collective effort, and we value your help in maintaining the beauty of our shared space.
