Renton Oasis: Shady Hill Hobby Farm

Welcome to Shady Hill Hobby farm! Our farm offers a wooded pasture with a creek (note: during summer months the creek is muddy) that is fully fenced with horse fencing or barbed wire. The gate at the end of the gravel path begins your off-leash experience! Once inside, you'll have the option to take a left to enjoy the creek or continue up the hill to explore the woods and pasture. Upon entering the farm, parking will be on your right. Please park your vehicle on the wood chips. Given this is an active farm with chickens free ranging we do ask that you keep your dog(s) on a leash until you are behind the Sniffspot gate. You are also welcome to observe the farm animals while your dog is leashed as well. We hope you enjoy our farm as much as we do. ~ Hall Family

Little Red Bench Private Dog Park In Tacoma

This spot is a 1/2 acre rough pasture with a bench, fruit trees, a tree swing and woods surrounded by greenbelt. It is fully fenced and gated although if your dog is small and escape-minded it may do so because it is wire field fence, not board fence. Please park to the far right of the garage and keep your dog leashed until you reach the pasture area at the back of the property. Enjoy! Jen is a positive reinforcement trainer who specializes in behavioral issues, anxiety, reactivity, raising great puppies/dogs, life skills, manners, and more! Katie's 0.5 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Tacoma

We have a convenient location in Summit just off of Canyon Road near 512. Our backyard is fully fenced, with a play structure for kids and lots of shade in the summer, but plenty of sunshine too when it’s out. The backyard has a gentle slope that’s easy to navigate, we have comfortable chairs with cushions for hanging out. Feel free to move the chairs around the yard if you want a shady spot. It’s a dead end street and is pretty quiet all together. The neighbors behind the tall cedar fence have two dogs that can sometimes be heard but not seen. Lots of people walk their dogs on leashes on the main road but it is not really visible from the backyard. We are located really close to an entrance to Orangegate Park with its newly paved and unpaved trails. You’re welcome to leave your car parked here if you’re going to enjoy some on leash time with your dog at Orangegate before or after your visit. We do not have any pets of our own but do have two little people on premises, please let me know if you’d like to introduce your dog to some kids. My kiddos are amazingly respectful, gentle and patient with dogs so would be great kids to introduce your dogs to if you’re trying to get them accustomed to kids.

To be fully fenced please roll shut the main gate after you park. There are also 2 sets of gates at the top of each trail to the Sniffspot. The forest area is fully fenced, some doubled. There are 2 gates that lead to the creek so you can control access. Please roll the Entrance gate into the OPEN and securely hooked position when you leave, thank you!
