45Overall a good experience. Dogs had fun! Wasn't sure which garden areas were free for the dogs and which weren't.
45It was really cute and nice grass.
55Kirby loved roaming around. Perfect for her. Thanks again
55Had a great time at our first sniff spot!
55This is a great spot! It had lots of room for my dog to sniff around and explore. We loved it!
15I used to live 2 houses away from this property years ago, so when I got to it I was skeptical but the pics online looked great, so didn't think much about it. Got in the first gate fine. Next gate (if you can call it that) was a total hassle to deal with, luckily I brought my daughter so she could hang on to our dog and other stuff while I dealt with securing the gate back up. Pics to me, definitely looked different (much larger) and less cluttered. I had to get our dog's ball from numerous places because there was just too much going on in the backyard. And maybe it's just me, but I prefer a spot where I can't see the homeowner and hear them having dinner right inside while we're sitting on their porch, very weird feeling. Again, maybe just me. Also, if your dog is reactive to other dogs, be prepared for 2 beautiful pitties to greet them when you get there. Not for me.
15The backyard was very crowded and I feel like the front fences weren’t secured enough. There were other dogs in the neighborhood and I didn’t feel safe.
55Great place for dogs to play. The covered patio sure came in handy when it started hailing during our visit!
45Clean and a good size for our two pups to run around. A lot of smells including resident dogs I'm sure which was a mild distraction. The double glass doors to the back had my anxious pup preoccupied looking for the resident dog(s), but the space is large and clean and good for a romp!
55Clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the ample parking and double gates.

A world-class Pacific Northwest natural rainforest adventure awaits you and your best friends on 66-year-old trails, through 2 acres of trails, forest, tall old growth trees, a creek, and open areas for ball throwing and chasing sticks on 9 terraces. Starting with your choice of 2 entrance paths on the far left and right over a bluff that winds around to The Landing Pad, through other trails forming circles to run around on and play. ('Yes, there are 2 paths you can go by'). At the very bottom, our Madhatter trail leads to a creek. The property is partially fenced and has natural barriers. It is bounded by a fence at the top, a fence on one L-shaped side, a cliff, and creek on the other. Bring more than one dog, if at all possible, because they LOVE to play 'Hide and Go Seek', and chase each other around in circles on the switchback trails, down the hill to the creek and back up the hill to the lodge. This tranquil forest was mostly clear-cut between 66 to 100 years ago then not replanted. So we replanted our 2-acre forest with 600+ trees. The ground is wood chips, sand, Pacific Northwest duff, with 160ft tall Hemlock, Douglas Fir, Alder, Big Leaf Maple trees, 1 Madrona, ferns, and native bushes with views of a 20-acre privately owned forested wetland. We prepared the yard as a Sniffspot for dogs. Rarely seen are animals in the forest - occasional wild rabbits, moles, squirrels, mountain beavers, raccoons, mice, shrews, voles, and weasels. Many birds are seen and heard here- thrush, grosbeaks, warblers, sparrows, starlings, chickadees, flycatchers, redstarts, vireos, tanager, pewees, orioles, woodpeckers - shorebirds, waterfowl, raptors, such as hawks, and American Bald Eagles. This is a rugged forested area so be careful of footing! watch for signs of moles and Mountain beaver underground trails crossing the paths, especially along Secret Lane, Lover's Lane, and Hidden Lane (signs to be added soon). Do wear boots if you plan to access the creek. We spent 4+ years removing invasive bushes, cutting down dead trees, and creating places for you to run, walk, play, pause, sit, and enjoy your dogs in this natural rainforest, one mile from the South Sound. When you park you can close the entry gate at the top. A garbage container for poo bags is available at the top driveway as you exit under the Big Leaf Maple tree on the right in the large gray bin marked "Garbage". We feel a lot of delight here. We welcome you to enjoy it now! 2 Starbucks are less than 5 minutes away in either direction (bathrooms are available there). Bigfoot Java is at 4627 SW 320th St. (no bathroom but open 24x7) Join us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61556216197208 or search "Wonderlane World Famous Sniffspot" :-) Wonderlane is a place to commune with nature, a peaceful place to breathe in nature with some walks over and around 2 acres of forested hills. You can't get lost, just keep going up if you are unsure. When it is raining and for water dogs, bring a towel to dry off pups' paws. There is water to wash dogs down near the creek. Actually there are water hydrants in most areas. If your dog is reactive and you want to, you may keep your pup leashed the 20 ft from your vehicle to the top of either trailhead. When leaving via either trail at the top you can easily pause to leash your dog if you wish. PS. If your dog doesn't want to leave, contact me and I'll ring the Magic Chuck Waggin' Triangle, and your dog will come. No worries!
