Beautiful space with both woods and an open area!

  • MON H., Mar 18, 2023

Very nice neighborhood tucked away, huge yard and grounds. We played catch for a while and lots to sniff around the area!

    Beautiful, peaceful place to explore!

This site is excellent for exploring a diverse environment of woods, a creek area, and a play spot. We were specifically looking for sniffspot to give our dogs the opportunity to investigate a more natural but safe landscape. They had so much fun! The spot is unfenced but would contain dogs with good recall. We used long lines since we visited after heavy rain and the creek was running high. The creek area is probably inaccessible to people and pups with mobility issues. Overall, this is a terrific spot!

Huge space for dog to run around. We came after a rain so the ground going down toward the water was slippery. Was still great!

Great, quiet space for my dog to explore!

  • Brian H., Feb 16, 2023

    Great spot! Will visit again

Repeat visits to the creek area have been great.

Great yard with a cool little wooded area to explore if you’re feeling adventurous and want to get to the creek. I will say it’s a VERY steep walk to the creek. I only made it about 75% of the way before I couldn’t find a way down anymore. Maybe you’ll have better luck! The dogs of course figured out a way and swam for a bit in my eyesight. I would only advise to do this if you have excellent recall because you cannot get to them quickly if anything were to happen.

Huge yard with tons of space. I could hear another dog barking at one point but couldn’t see it and would have been pretty far away. Stayed mostly in the front yard but would venture to the back in warmer months to explore the water. As others have mentioned there are brambles back there so dress accordingly.

Our yard, though not enormous, is the perfect spot for your pup to run and get some energy out! It’s lengthy so there’s plenty of room to throw a ball, frisbee or other toys. Our dogs enjoy running in circles and around the trampoline. We have one of the largest lots on the street and the pups love playing back there. It’s fully fenced but please make sure the gate is latched upon entering / exiting. We find out dogs rest under the trampoline for shade when needed. There is a trashcan on the deck should you need to deposit waste or you can use the rake/ bucket system we have and we will deposit it later. There is a water bowl on the deck. During warmer seasons, the hose will be turned on and there will be an auto dog spigot attached. Once your pup learns to drink from this - they won’t stop! There are various toys spread throughout the yard. There are 2 chairs and a table on the back deck available for you to use to sit and watch your pups play. We are backed against a black trail so you’ll sometimes see walkers walking. There’s a pond across the street which is fun to walk with your pups along with a waste station should you choose to use that. One neighbor has a dog and one doesn’t so you will occasionally see a dog outside. Parking - we suggest you park on Destiny and walk down the path to our house. You may enter through the gate which will be easier than coming in through the front.

Large fenced in backyard. Open space to run and play. Patio with umbrella table and four swivel chairs. Two trees for shade. Various dog toys that are cleaned after each visit. A kiddie pool as an extra (April- September). Lights for nighttime play! Please park in the street in front of the house. Enter through the gate on the right side of the house. If I have advance notice and I am home, I will leave a cold bowl of water on the back steps. Bug spray, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, paper towels, dog treats, and a dog first aid kit are in the bin on the umbrella table. If you bring your own bowl and I wasn’t able to leave one out, please feel free to use the hose and water from the spigot on the back of the house to the right of the sunroom behind the umbrella table. Please make sure you turn it off when you are finished. Water to that spigot will be winterized (turned off) once the temperature drops below 32° and will be de-winterized (turned on) in early spring when the temperatures warm up. When the water to the spigot is turned off, there will be a jug of fresh water on the back steps for your use. There is a garbage can with a plastic bag in it for discarding your poop bags, on the left side of the door to the shed. Please knot your poop bags. The spigot on the right front of the shed is not potable but can be used for cleaning or cooling your dog down. The spigot tends to spray, so stand as far to the left as you can when turning it on if you don’t want to get wet! This system will be winterized (turned off) during the winter months. New toys will be added and rotated on a regular basis. They can be found in the plastic bin on the patio table. Please feel free to help yourself to what is in the bin. After each use, I wash and sanitize each of the toys. Please try to keep your dog from laying in the decorative grass around the perimeter of the sunroom. In the winter, please try to keep your dog(s) from the flowerbeds that are on the perimeter of the yard in front of the fences. Those areas tend to get muddy in the winter months, but are full of flowers in the spring/summer. The wooden bench in front of the garden recently became wobbly, and it may not be stable to sit on. I am looking into getting it fixed.
