Our space offers fun for dogs of all ages! We have lots of items to desensitize your pup and allow them to explore in a safe place (swing set, jungle gym, table, chairs) Warm month mornings are typically full sun, while afternoons offer partial shaded areas to cool off after a long day. Other amenities include table with umbrella and chairs, dog toys, shaded dog shack, pooper scooper, poop bags, water bowl, water hose, small dog pool, and agility equipment. We don’t typically use pesticides because we don’t want to harm pollinators, so we offer bug sprays and personal repellents. Our yard is backed up to a wooded area, so it’s frequented by an array at wildlife at times. You likely won’t see them during your visit, but we have seen squirrels, birds, rabbits, deer, frogs, groundhog, and a fox/bats at night (while yard is empty).

This yard has always been a special place for our family. Our dog loved racing through the grass here, full of energy and joy. After saying goodbye, my wife and I wanted to open the space to other dogs so they could enjoy it just as much as he did. Our large, fully fenced yard offers plenty of room to run, sniff, and explore safely. The 7-foot wooden fence keeps everything secure, perfect for off-leash play or reactive pups who need a little extra space. The yard features lush grass with mulch beds beneath mature trees, giving your dog both open sunshine and cool shade to enjoy. There’s a seating area with table and chairs, balls for playtime, and access to a hose and electrical outlet for your convenience. Off-street parking makes arrival easy and stress-free. Set in a quiet suburban neighborhood, just a short drive from Alexandria, Arlington and Washington DC. This is a peaceful spot to unwind, train, be off-leash and let your dog be a dog. We hope your pup feels right at home here. In the fall the yard gets covered in leaves. I do my best to keep them tidy, but they seem to have their own plans. Our dog used to love racing through the piles, and most pups enjoy the extra smells and crunch — hopefully yours does too.

But also there is free street parking. Please enter through the GATE RIGHT OF THE HOUSE - please see pictures for location. 1b- Please keep dog’s leashes on upon entering and exiting the spot. 2- There are garden chairs and a bench, please feel free to use them. 3- There is a box filled with fun dog toys and a couple of dog treats for you all to enjoy. 4- There is a faucet under the deck and a bowl, please feel free to use them. 5- We would be appreciate if you left the backyard as you found it. IMPORTANT: ALL DOGS MUST BE LEASHED WHILE ENTERING AND EXITING THE SNIFFSPOT, AND THE LEASH SHOULD BE KEPT WITHIN EASY REACH FOR QUICK ACCESS. Spacious backyard right in the heart of Arlington! Your pup should enjoy a place to run around even in the city. Parking: I had a gravel drive way feel free to park in and behind my car if I’m home. There’s also a parking lot next to me that has two hour free parking. Note: my house is right off Glebe so you can hear cars passing while in the back, but it is pretty sheltered from people passing on the sidewalk.

A reactive dog himself, my rescue Reptar understands the value of private playtime in a safe space and invites you to enjoy his personal pup oasis! Reptar told me to welcome you and your dogs to enjoy his fully-fenced backyard with private lake access. He offers shade for our guests, both from the trees and a movable pop up tent. He also has a dog-kiddie pool for them to splash around in or rinse off after their dip in the lake. He provide outside toys, doggie waste bags, treats, towels and drinking water for you and our furry guests. He offers a 25 yard leash you can use when your dog is swimming if you are worried about their recall in the water. Swimming is at the discretion of the owner/booker, and we have no ability to control lake conditions. Welcome to sync your phone to our Bose speaker to listen to your own music or just enjoy the sounds of nature. In the springtime, it’s the perfect weather for your dogs to swim while you enjoy the view. Lots of wildlife to enjoy, you may even help us find newly hatched baby turtles during your stay!
