Very responsive host. My dog enjoyed her playtime
Linda came out with water for Gerta. There is a dog behind the house, but nonreactive. Overall a good experience.
Our dogs had a great time! The yard has a good amount of grass for the dogs to roll around and lots of trees, a water feature, bushes, etc to explore. The host was kind and left water for the dogs to drink. We definitely plan on booking more time. here!
Host replied: Thank you!

Hi! Thank you for considering Great Oaks as a welcome, safe spot for you & your pets. I am a lifelong animal lover & Master Gardener. When we moved into this home we designed the garden with walking paths, shade & sun to enjoy the climate & weather changes. As a pet owner & lover I have served as a Board Member for the Aiken SPCA. In the early β90βs a few of us got together & helped open The SPCA Thrift Shop, which still operating today. Later I worked as a Front Desk Volunteer at the Aiken County Animal Shelter. I have always been a trusted pet sitter. However, I recently became physically challenged & find myself helping care for special needs & senior pets. And, creating a great, private park for all of us. We look π forward to your visit. Linda Levinson Taylor

Private backyard in the highland lakes neighborhood.
We have a small puppy named Bear (beagle/dachshund mix) who loves to share his space! He is fully vaccinated, so the yard is germ-free. I will keep him inside, unless your pup wants a playmate. We have a large fenced-in yard with short grass, as well as an open area (long grass, mud, clay) behind our house accessible through our gate. Toys and treats provided!
