Private, fully fenced yard. No shared space, easy entry, and a calm, safe environment for your pup to decompress. Bonus: direct access to the Wissahickon Trail!! 🐶♥️We have a reactive dog that is afraid of people and I thought it would be such a great opportunity to share our space that we love so much with other people and their pups. This is a safe space for all! ♥️ You will be able to use our driveway. Pull all the way into the driveway and take your dog from your car, directly into the fenced in yard. Theyard is about 3500 to 4000 ft.² around the side of the yard is an area with a table and chairs also a small screened in porch that you are welcome to use with your pup! I will make sure that there is a dog bowl and bags for picking up poop available for you. Trash cans are right as soon as you park! If your dog is not reactive, or if you are working on reactivity, there is gate that exits out through the other side of our yard and you enter the Wissahickon Trail, you are more than welcome to walk the public trail with your leashed dog! My husband built a small rock trail to guide you into the main trail. Also, the patio and chairs are a great spot for people who are working from home. You’re more than welcome to hang out there while your dog get some sniffs and energy out. ** While we love 🩷 hosting your pups! 🐾 We work full-time, 🐶Same-day bookings are always welcome but please note it may not allow me time to prepare the yard 💩 to my standards and place out the welcome basket 😊 for your visit. Accommodations: 🚗Driveway 🚖Private gate enterance 🪑Chairs/table 🌺Screened Patio 💩Poop bags 🦴Dog bowel 🧖🏼‍♀️Towels for drying-please just leave used towels hanging on the fence when your don’t. 💦Hose- during summer 🚿Sprinkler- during summer, on the deck, feel free to hook up 👙Small pool- during summer, located in the deck, please feel free to pull on to the grass and fill, we just ask you empty before you leave

Hi, my name is Maria. I have been working with my reactive dog for a little over a year now. We have had really good days and we’ve had really bad days. But one thing that helped my reactive dog is getting a lot of energy out and having quality time with us. I noticed that it was really hard to find places that were quiet, safe and fenced in, where he could feel protected and we could all feel safe. I was so hyper-vigilant everywhere we went! We were lucky enough to be able to get a fence placed last year and I will say it has been a game changer! I thought it would be really nice to be able to share our backyard with others who were in the same situation or who just don’t have a fenced in yard and their dog needs some run time ! We have opened our home to multiple fosters in the past and currently have a 11-year-old boxer lab mix named Graham and a 2 1/2 year-old pit mix name athos! We try to enjoy our backyard on the weekends but during the week primarily it goes unused, so it would be really nice for it to get used by other people ! Sadly, right now we are dealing with both of our dogs, not getting along with each other, and living separately in our home. So we do a lot of family walks, including walks in the back of our house at the Trail, which means the backyard only gets utilized sparingly for potty breaks. So please use the beautiful space!
