55This was our first time at this Sniffspot. It’s about 45 min from the Milwaukee airport area but I have relatives in nearby Bristol so I decided to give it a try. It was easy to get to of the interstate, not too many turns. I brought my 3 dogs and foster puppy. It is noted in the description that the neighbor dog is sometimes out, but my dogs aren’t usually bothered by that so we took a chance. Unfortunately, the neighbor dog was out and was continually running the fenceline for about 10 min and 2 of my dogs were agitated and running the fenceline along with the dog. The neighbor did bring their dog in after about 10 min and we were able to enjoy the rest of our visit. There is a privacy blocker along the chain link fence so the dogs couldn’t see each other but because it was sunny, we could see the shadow of the dog running back and forth. Again, this is noted in the description so I can only fault myself for taking a chance. I just didn’t expect my dogs to have the reaction they did. The property is nice and very interesting from a dog’s perspective. Plenty of foliage to sniff, room to run. a good mix of sun and shade, places for seating, and toys and water are provided. My puppy enjoyed the stuffy tired to the tree along with the variety of other toys. My dogs also found the deck interesting. Just a note, the trash bin is near the entrance (I didn’t notice it initially.) All in all, a nice property and one I would come back to if not for the neighbor dog, or more so, my own dogs inability to disengage. I did not notice any gaps in the fence where a dog could escape. I suppose a teeny tiny dog may be able to squeeze out between the deck railing on one side of the deck but I do think teeny tiny dog parents are always on the lookout for that sort of thing. It wasn’t a concern for me. I did initially miss the turn onto the street as the single lane road looks more like an entrance to a gated community than a city street. Also, you’ll reach the driveway before you see the address on the house, which is on your left. I had to pull forward to look at the address to make sure I was at the right place. It would be helpful to have a Sniffspot logo sign at the edge of the driveway for easier wayfinding. This is a newer Sniffspot and the property owner has done a great job with amenities. I always appreciate when homeowners are willing to open their yard to complete strangers and their dogs to provide a place for them to safely exercise, so thank you for allowing us to check out your place! Description

Welcome! Tucked away in downtown Antioch is a hidden one-acre private dog park where dogs can run, sniff, zoom, dig, splash, and play to their heart's content. Reservation only - just you and your dog. 🐾 For the Dogs: I have a feeling you're going to love this backyard. It's a full acre of fenced-in freedom, hidden behind the houses like a secret playground. There's plenty of open space for epic zoomies, mature trees that are almost certainly hiding squirrels, and even a special corner where digging is enthusiastically encouraged. If you visit after a good rain, you might discover a muddy little spot that's perfect for rolling around and getting dirty (you're welcome.) No rain? No problem. Cool off in the doggy splash pad instead. Of course, you'll also find plenty of other toys waiting for you, like tennis balls, frisbees, and those squeaky toys you love to throw into the air (you know the ones). For the Humans: While your pup burns off some energy, you can enjoy a surprisingly peaceful and serene backyard, especially considering it's only a half block off Main Street in downtown Antioch. In the middle of the yard you'll find our old chicken house. It retired from raising chickens years ago and really just sits there looking cute. But it does have a little patio with chairs, a basket of dog toys, and a water spigot with fresh water for thirsty pups. 🌳 The Property: Our property is located just north of Sequoit Creek Park and the Antioch Public Library, only a half block off Main Street. The backyard is fully fenced and has convenient, direct access from the driveway. Guests have two dedicated parking spaces in the large circular driveway, set well away from the house. The yard is usually quiet and peaceful. Occasionally, the neighbors' two friendly dogs may be outside. They sometimes bark to say hello, but they stay securely on their own property. ❤️ Thanks for Visiting! I'm new to Sniffspot and excited to share this special space with other dog lovers. If there's anything you'd like to see added or improved, I'd genuinely love to hear your suggestions.
