I read the other reviews so I purposely reached out to ask about where we should go to avoid public spots. One of my dog is reactive to other dogs and the reason we use Sniff Spot. There was no response on the day of the visit as to if we were in the right place and no signs to where we were supposed to be. We ended up on the public trail which defeats the purpose and was very frustrating. Tracy did make it right and refunded our money because we left early as we were just wondering around and not sure where it was ok for us to be. It’s a beautiful and large space but just needs more clear direction
Tracy was responsive when I was trying to find a place to visit. It’s a great location. The only thing I would recommend is letting people know where they’re supposed to park and where on their property they’re allowed to go. I had to text her when I got there because I had no clue where I should head. I would recommend in the future having signs explaining where the trails are and what part of the yard we could use. Otherwise, my dogs had a great visit and loved the Brook and waterfall.
This is a great spot for bushwhacking in light woods, which my dogs LOVE to do! (I’d suggest that humans wear boots at this site.). There are open areas around the house as well for games. I faintly heard some dogs inside at one point when we got very close to the house but neither of my 2 reactive dogs responded to this and we never saw any dogs. There are beautifully maintained trails and a stream and waterfall in the adjacent Joshua Trust property. If you see yellow blazes on the trail you are off the Sniffspot property and on public land. I didn’t see anyone on the public trails but if you’re concerned about meeting someone on a trail just stay off the yellow-blazed areas. Saw some small wildlife and some coyote scat. Dogs were in olfactory heaven!
Tracy was very accommodating and responsive. The yard was large with plenty of area for running and if you want to bushwhack a bit you can get down to a lovely pond. My only issue is that I unknowingly started out on a trail that goes right from her property onto a public trail....which is not what I wanted to do. I prefer to be where I am certain there will not be other dogs so that I can let my guys run. I was fortunate that there were no other hikers/dogs out that day because we spent our first hour on that trail. It would be incredibly helpful if people who have larger pieces of property would make a rough sketch of where their property lines are. We all had a great time though.

Bucolic, parklike grounds for a perfect day out with your dog. Play on the expansive lawn, go for a cooling dip in the spring-fed pond, leap over the stone walls, or explore the secluded woodland streams and trails. The location is convenient for day trips, but the scenery feels like you've discovered a perfect piece of New England nature. Don't miss out!
Field space to run/walk. Driveway not plowed in heavy snow.
We have a beautiful fully fenced in big backyard for you and your pups to enjoy. The front has 8 ft white privacy fencing with the sides and back using a black chain link 4ft fully enclosed fence. There is an exit door at the back and front. We have a back deck with sectional seating, gas fire pit, dining table and Blackstone grill for your use if you would like. There is an umbrella for shade as well as a wood fire pit in the back. We have a hose hookup and sprinkler as well. There are doggy bags in the wire basket and a pooper scooper by the stairs. Please use both and leave dog bags in the big green trashcan by the gate. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
Hi Everyone, my name is Wendy ! A great big WELCOME to my sniffspot, so happy to have you here! Please come over and enjoy time with your special pets in my fully fenced, spacious, well kept, quiet and safe backyard. When you book it is just you and your pups, no distractions! Relax on the deck while pup sniffs until hearts content. Also a great place to hold a party for your pup or a puppie play date! Feel free to drop any dog baggies in trash bin at side of the house, I have extras available if needed as well as towels and antibacterial wipes. Because I care so much for the sweet pups I have put away all toys (except bubbles) and the water dish due to the emerging and potentially dangerous respiratory virus being discovered among dogs. Once it is under control I will bring everything back out. In the meantime please bring any toys or water sources puppy may need. I will leave extra water bottles on the deck just in case! Thank you so much for coming by, hope to see you again soon!

Fenced in backyard with bunnies, squirrels, and chipmunks for your dog to sniff out. We rotate out sensory stations and different obstacles and dog toys depending on the season and notice. We just added a dog rope tug that is attached to our tree! Feel free to message us and request something specific. We have sprinklers, kiddie pool, splash pad, mini-trampoline, a host of different balls, long lines, and enrichment feeders. We also have laminated games and tricks to teach your dog! Not all games and activities are out all the time to give dogs room to run! Request anything you want to see in specific. We have a poop scooper, first aid kit, toys for children, and a small trash can as well as water bowl at the ready and chairs for the humans. Gazebo is currently down because a storm broke it, but will be up again soon. Our gazebo and outdoor couch is back up and running. Feel free to uncover and use if you like. If notice is given we could set up an umbrella for extra shade extra chairs, water bowl, and or treats for dog. Check picture 5 for the toys that are normally out and require no notice: nerf dog flyer frisbee, Chuck it with different balls, jollyball (10”), Kong Twistz ball, small dog ball, spring pole dog rope toy, and, tennis ball launcher (football looking thing you step on). Please unplug pool drain when finished to save squirrel lives! :)
