55Our dogs had the best time! The owners thought of everything to make it fun. We brought our own toys but they have a cabinet with a nice selection of toys for the dogs. They have a water jug and bowls. It was just an awesome experience and we will definitely be making the hour drive to visit again!
55Clean and quiet with so many fun options!
55Great experience for my dog!
55My dog loved it! There were so many play options and it’s located in a quiet remote area. I was visiting for the holidays and she needed a place to get her zoomies out. I’d definitely recommend going here!
55This was such a cool experience so many supplies and options for play !!
55This spot is amazing! Booked it on our way home from Watkins Glen to let the dogs get some energy out before a 4 hour drive home. They LOVED tunnels and patches of tall grass. There was fresh water and the most adorable little play set for dogs with a ball pit. They worked on some confidence with the hay bales and wooden spools and were the best on the ride home after having more than adequate mental & physical stimulation. Will keep this spot saved if we are ever in the area. Highly recommend!!
55Such a great host and my dogs always have an amazing time here!
55Had the best time! Always have a blast!
55Lots of fun things for my dogs to do. Clean and well maintained. Fresh water available. Beautiful scenery.
55My pup had the greatest time here! We were traveling through and he really needed a safe place to run. The fence is sound and there are so many fun structures- my guy particularly loved the hill with the tunnel. HIGHLY recommend and want to come back!

Description

Finger Lakes Dog Park is a privately reservable, fully-fenced, half acre canine recreation area. We enthusiastically welcome ALL dogs, but the private nature of the park is especially beneficial for reactive or shy dogs, traveling dogs, handicapped dogs, puppies, or seniors. We are the first and only dog park in Schuyler County, located in the heart of the Finger Lakes Region. The area is known for its rolling farmland, many vineyards, beautiful lakes, and plentiful waterfalls and gorges. Numerous state parks offer many camping opportunities. And the county is also home to the only national forest in the state. So whether you are a local resident-or a visitor to our little piece of heaven-be sure to bring your special friend(s) for an enjoyable outing in the country. We are open every day (including all holidays) from 8am to 8pm. The park is not lighted (yet) so reserve your spot accordingly during the winter. Happy romping!

I have been involved in the pet industry for more than 45 years. I owned a pet care business in NH, providing pet and farm sitting, boarding, grooming, and additional services. I have managed a number of horse facilities, have worked as a vet tech, as a trainer for Invisible Fence, raised and showed AKC bullmastiffs for 20 years, and have authored numerous articles for pet and equine publications, including the award-winning book Without Regret: A Handbook for Owners of Canine Amputees. For the last 16 years I have worked part-time for Cornell Cooperative Extension; I also provide pro bono bookkeeping services for the American Guinea Hog Association, Forever Morgans Rescue, and The Magic Bullet Fund. My husband and I own the 30 acre farm where the dog park is located and we have raised heritage livestock for nearly 2 decades. We also love and rescue pit bulls in need.
