Please note that this is a dog-only Splashpad. For safety reasons, children are not permitted to run or play on the Splashpad. While most visits are quiet and private, we do offer dog training classes onsite on some weekends. Guests may see people or dogs arriving, though they use a separate entrance. A huge tree was removed not too long ago. There is still chips that have to be cleaned up in the middle of the yard. Otherwise there’s chairs around a fire pit where you may relax and a huge umbrella that can give you shade. There’s is also a hammock you may enjoy! Do bring bug spray because there are some mosquitos.

Playful Pups Retreat SniffSpot Play Yard

Our SniffSpot Play Yard is fully fenced in with a 6ft tall wooden privacy fence. We have 19 wooded acres with our boarding facility being located at the South end of our property, the owners personal residence in the middle and our private SniffSpot play yard at the North end of our property. We do have a nice walking trail that meanders through our property but please be aware that our Playful Pups Retreat Staff may be walking overnight boarding dogs on the trail during our business hours. There is a container with a few toys to play with inside the SniffSpot yard but we do suggest bringing your own toys. Please bring poop bags and clean up after your pet. Please take bags of poop with you or stop at Playful Pups and dispose of it in one of our outdoor trash receptacles. FOR NOISE SENSITIVE DOGS! PLEASE BE AWARE WE DO HAVE A GUN CLUB NOT FAR FROM THIS PLAY YARD. DEPENDING ON THE DAY THERE MAY BE GUNFIRE.
