55A really nice spot with lots of room!
25This would have been a good visit, but someone unexpectedly entered the spot halfway through that appeared to be a friend of the tenants. There was a car parked inside of the spot when we got there and the tenant was in the spot filling a gas tank. Once he left he kept coming up to the gate to talk to us. The car in the spot apparently belonged to the tenants guest. He opened the back gate with no warning to walk into the spot and thankfully I was close enough to my dog to grab him because I don’t know how he would react to a stranger walking right in. The person then proceeded to leave the spot in his car, meaning he had to open one of the gates and we had to put our dog on leash and wait for him to leave. To run the risk of having someone enter a spot without warning is dangerous and unacceptable.
55I wasn't completely sure I was at the right place the first time I was there, so it was nice that the owner was there to show me where to park. Nice, huge open field to run around in. I'll be back!
45I’m always so grateful to people who open up their spaces and host. A fenced acre is amazing in itself and it’s always fun when there are farmy extras like goats nearby. My dog however was enthralled by all the delicious critter droppings - and they are plentiful here. So much that I never let him off leash and decided it wasn’t a great space for us. It’s an easy drive in but any sort of marking (doesn’t need to be a Sniffspot sign) would be really helpful - I hate entering a space that I’m only 90% sure is the right one! Hope this helps or hers and thanks to the owners again for hosting!!
45The host was so kind and accommodating! When we got there we could see the goats from the Sniffspot, which was very fun for humans but unfortunately I learned that my dog can’t handle goats and hyper fixated. She offered to move the goats, which was amazing! Unfortunately my dog couldn’t let it go and got out at a spot, but she explained that the spot where he escaped is going to be reinforced soon so it shouldn’t be an issue in the future. There was some animal poop in the spot, but that’s to be expected at a farm I think. Overall a little overstimulating for my dog at the moment, but will be a nice spot overall!
55Nice place, goats very visible just on other side of a chain link fence so be aware.
45We had a great time. Our pups had room to run around. It was a nice spot however there were some thorns that my small dog got caught in.
55Lots of good sniffing at this spot and plenty of room to run. The goats next door were calm and quiet. The host responded quickly to my questions and was helpful. Great spot for my energetic dog.
55My two city dogs LOVED this rural property! They ran and explored like crazy and were tired out the rest of the day. One of my dogs was overly fascinated by the goats on the other side of the fence, but they seemed used to the attention. We shall return!
