Welcome to Beaverton's Dog Trails! Please access the trails from Concession 6. Punch these coordinates into Google Maps: 44.4415942, -79.1065234. There is a SniffSpot Sign at the entrance. You may park in the private driveway. Rubber boots are recommended! At times the river will be high, and you may only have access to the first half of the trails. Cross the river at your own discretion. There are still plenty of trails to discover! Please pick up after your dog, there is a waste bin at the entrance. Please help yourself to a laminated map at the entrance and return after your walk. The map is posted throughout the trails with "you are here" symbols to help you navigate the trails. There is also bug spray in the cabinet at the trail entrance. If trails are blocked off with caution tape, they are temporarily closed. Enjoy your visit! Where there is a 6 foot tall fence so that dogs are secure even in the winter with a few feet of snow on the ground. I have been open for over a year now but I am still making improvements when I get the time between work and family obligations. Hope your four legged friends enjoy it as much as my dogs do. *SPRING UPDATE* (Mid March-April- early May) The entrance gate to the Sniffspot in the spring does get muddy and with the saturated soil does hold standing water at times. Please do not park in the standing water. Also the gate area in early spring does flood and you will need rubber boots to cross this portion to access the fenced area. Check local weather conditions the day before and the day of your reservation for rain. If it was dry for days then the water usually drains away.
