Peacful 3 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Shingle Springs

Peaceful country escape to allow your pups to run and explore off-leash. The full size of the property is 11.5 acres, but the area for the dogs to explore is restricted to the fields in front of, on the side of, and behind the barn (so approx 3 acres). There is a sand riding arena that is great for ball throwing or bring a remote control car and run it for your dogs (I used to do this and my dogs had the absolute best time!). There are a few balls on the property for guest use. There are horses on the property, and no chasing of the horses will be tolerated. This property is also best for dogs that have good recall, as there is occasional wildlife that passes through. In the winter months, depending on rainfall, there is a seasonal creek and seasonal ponds that offer additional fun and exploration for dogs.

Hi Friends! Happy Summer we are back in the swing of it…looking forward to hosting you soon! Large fenced backyard with amazing pool for your furry friend. Option to add extras if you want to swim with your fur kids… Friends please send me a message ahead of time if you plan on swimming with your pups. While this is a dog focused activity I understand that timid or new swimmers may need in pool assistance and that’s no problem/no extra charge. On the other hand if you want to bring the fam/friends and swim laps with your pups and break out some pool floats there is an additional $10 charge. ***New policy change. Please take your dog waste with you. Thank you for understanding.❤️🐾 Note for reactive pups: There is a small bulldog that lives next door about 50% of the time now. He doesn’t bark at all but can sometimes be heard in the rustling leaves by the fence. We apologize! I will update this should the situation change. Happy Swimming! Hello! We have 2.5 fully fenced acres for your dog to run, sniff, swim and explore. We have goats on the property that are fenced separately, but dogs have access to smell them. There are horses, goats, donkeys, and chickens on the neighboring properties. There is a pond and a pool that isn’t fenced once inside the yard. I have a dog who will bark when you arrive, but he does stop. There are several cats on the property who are used to large dogs and very good at disappearing. Chances are you won’t see them at all. I also have two small pastures that can be closed off to keep dogs in a smaller area if necessary. Lots of trees for shade. Our grass is always cut down and we keep the property watered (as best as possible) so no sign of rattlesnakes. During the spring/summer months, there are stickers, welcome to country life! Dogs are allowed in the pool, I just ask that you don’t let them in the pond and then the pool. It makes it very dirty. Please rinse them off if they do before entering the pool. The pool is salt water. If you want to swim with your fur baby, please click the “extra” to add that and follow all rules. I try to meet everyone for their first visit but if I can’t I will send a message letting you know. There is a picnic table and chairs so feel free to bring a snack or picnic lunch and enjoy. Welcome to Redwood Acre Ranch! Here we offer a dog park for your pup on a local farm. Our farm animals are secured behind a fenced area but close enough for your pup’s enrichment. The are is fully fenced, with a pooper scooper, trash can and water bowl. We have 4 resident dogs that love exploring the scents left behind by visiting dogs. Two of them work as herding dogs, one is a paraplegic chihuahua (which really has no farm job) and the last one is a livestock guardian who does take her job very seriously. Fortunately, your booking will give us enough time to have the dogs secured before visitors. The swimming pool is for dog use only. Parking on the street only-please do not park anywhere on the property or driveway. We need that area clear for people coming and going. In addition, spots on the property is reserved for the farm and house members. Thank you 🙏

Very well maintained yard with two lounge chairs, a hammock and a bench in the back corner. Comes with a goodie bag (some treats and poop bag) The seasonal hummingbirds and the blue jays may pay you a visit, along with one squirrel if he’s feeling up for it that day.
