Pooch Kingdom: Private Dog Park in La Cresta, Murrieta

Pooch Kingdom is a private dog park in Murrieta, tucked up in La Cresta. When you book, the whole park is yours for the hour. About 5,000 square feet, fenced, with a double-gated entrance, and no unfamiliar dogs coming through the gate. It's made for dogs who need their own space: reactive, anxious, shy, or simply happier without strangers. Multi-dog households are very welcome too. Every visit ends with a complimentary handmade dog cupcake for each dog. YOUR OWN PARK FOR AN HOUR Every booking is exclusive. One household, nobody else. You stay with your dogs the whole time, and you set the pace. Zoomies, slow sniffing, or sitting in the shade watching them be dogs. All of it counts. THE SPACE - About 5,000 sq ft of room to run, sniff and explore - Fencing approximately 5 ft high, with critter fencing around the whole perimeter - Double-gated entrance - Shaded seating for you, and music - Water bowls for the dogs - Toys, a ball pit, a lookout perch, a tunnel and a climber - Wading pool - Waste bags and a bin provided WHO IT SUITS - Reactive, anxious or shy dogs who do better without surprises - Dogs who love to play but not with dogs they don't know - Multi-dog households who want everyone out together - Anyone who wants relaxed, private playtime without scanning the gate WHAT YOU MIGHT SEE OR HEAR Private means the park is yours. It does not mean silent. Neighboring dogs can sometimes be seen or heard from the park. A horse, a neighbor or a delivery driver may occasionally be seen or heard too. All of this is rare. You may sometimes hear traffic. My own dogs stay indoors during visits and can't be seen or heard. I stay in the house during your visit, so the park is yours. VISITS AND TIMING Visits are one hour. I leave a full hour after every booking to clean, check the park and reset, so you won't cross paths with another family. Please arrive at your start time and head out on time. A CUPCAKE TO FINISH Every visit includes one complimentary dog cupcake per dog, handmade by me. They'll be waiting in a cooler box just outside the park gates, ready to collect as you leave. HEAT POLICY The park closes when it's over 85°F. Hot days are hard on paws and on dogs who don't know when to stop. If the forecast runs hot, those times come off the calendar. THE TREAT TRAILER Pooch Kingdom has an on-site treat trailer. I make gourmet dog treats, seasonal bakes, birthday cakes and personalized treats by hand, and I bake, package and check every one myself. Trailer visits are by prior arrangement, so message me before your visit if you'd like one. Your complimentary cupcakes come from here. BIRTHDAYS Pooch Kingdom also hosts private dog birthday parties, with options for a handmade cake, treats, decorations and photo moments. A party is its own booking, not a standard one-hour visit. Message me here to enquire. A FEW RULES - Keep dogs leashed until you are fully inside the park and both gates are closed. - Please stay with your dogs for the whole visit. - Pick up after your dogs. Waste bags and a bin are provided. - Check both gates are latched behind you, coming and going. - Maximum 8 dogs per booking, all from the same household. ABOUT ME Hi, I'm Kerry. I have three reactive rescue dogs: Cosmo, Zooie and Snowy. Cosmo was attacked at a public dog park, and that experience is a big part of why Pooch Kingdom exists. I'm a dog owner, not a trainer. There may be puddle present where water collects when you arrive that could create mud depending on how much fun they have with it. If they avoid it, no mud at all. Please see pictures. Come let your fur babies get their energy out! ** **DECEMBER 2025 update** My kids just added a DIY puppy paw print ornament station for you to do with your pup on site!! Cash or Zelle accepted. That being said we've recently learned about weed burners and are very happy to announce it work fantastically against foxtails!!! See pictures! If you come to visit, there may be charred weeds/foxtails that makes the SniffSpot safe for your visiting pups!!! We VERY MUCH VALUE your visit and hope that foxtails will not hinder your enjoyment. They're in the dark because we just finished and I couldn't be more excited to share the news and could not wait until morning. This is thanks to a visitor who suggested a handrail! Which will be added to the pathway soon! You may have noticed... We've added some more tire fun and rearranged the tree stumps... see how many puppy feet you can find!! **UPDATE 11/24/24** We have added a wash/wipe down station for those muddy paws! Plus some doggie cushions for your pup to have a soft spot to relax :). We've also added some additional seating on the opposite end so you can enjoy the yard from a different angle! Please see the pics for details :) **UPDATE 8/27/24** We are adding a log stump obstacle course for our furry visitors!!! Right now there are 9 stumps for your pooch to scale and enjoy. Stay tuned!! **UPDATE 7/25/24** We now have low-light solar powered lights installed for those who'd like to visit in darker hours!! Though you are encouraged to still bring flashlights:) Welcome to our little Adventure Park for Dogs! We are 100% run by my kids and I :). Please don't hesitate to reach out! As you arrive, you will park alongside our quiet street on graded dirt that may be slightly uneven in certain areas. You are visiting a residential home. You'll enter the property using the smaller, side gate and walk your pet(s) on a leash along the driveway for about 100 yards (past the deck). You reach a small, white gate to the right. Once you pass through this gate and it is properly latched behind you, you may unleash your pet. There are steps down to the play space. **Most of the land your pet will play on is uneven** **Land is always beautiful, but is green from first rain until May or June, then brown during summer until first rain** **We are fellow dog lovers! During your visit, our dogs will be enclosed uphill and away about 60 feet from the main play space, with two layers of vegetation and fences in between. Their enclosure is located on the far side of the home behind a different fence that cuts off the NW corner of the yard (see photos). The SniffSpot area DOES NOT share a fence with our dogs. You may hear a random bark from them, but that's it. Other details: The rental area is to the right of the driveway and is fenced in by a 3ft fence along two sides, and a 4ft chain link fence on the other two sides. The area is about 3/4 acre. It includes plenty of room for your pup to run, jump and play! There are small hills, trees, and huge boulders. Natural lighting only. Under the second deck there are hammock swings guests may use. Please, no pets on swings. Visitors may also utilize the deck closest to the house, but pets must be leashed on the deck, as it overlooks the play space and is not part of the fenced area. We may or may not be home. We do not typically interact with visitors to maximize your privacy, but would love to meet you if requested!
