Jax's Pool Party Dog Park In Cave Creek

Jeremy was a welcoming host. He brought us dog water and put up a large well needed umbrella. Our dog became focused on the pool and absolutely had a blast. We enjoyed being there and playing with our very energetic Belgian Malinois.

Extremely clean pool and yard. Lovely location, and wonderful host. Will book again. Highly recommend.

I booked my pups less than 12 hours in advance. I added my non swimmer dog just an hour or 2 prior to appointment. I arrived at the gate at 1:03. I did not have a code. I sent him a message. A car pulled up behind me, and I had to pull around and pull behind that car, and I followed them in as I still never got a code. So when we pulled up to the house, somebody was waiting outside. He never introduced himself. I assumed it was Jeremy. He walked us around to the side gate and into the backyard. He did ask us if we would like the umbrella opened up and some thing about water to cool off the deck. I said sure he did that and then he went inside. One of my dogs does not swim and he is a black dog. I was not prepared with water for him, as the listing said that water would be provided for the dogs. There was no water bowl, no towels, as was stated in the listing. I had one bottle of water, which I let him drink. I turned on the hose that was laying across the pool deck. There was a hole in the hose and the water was not coming out of the nozzle, so I just turned it off. My other two dogs enjoyed swimming. But we actually left 15 minutes early because it was too hot for my non swimmer dog, without a water bowl. We did knock on the door to ask about a scooper. Other than that, nobody checked on us to see how we were doing. I’m leaving a four-star review because I don’t want to ruin anybody’s ratings and I’m sure for whatever reason we were just a one off, of not having the experience everyone else seems to have had. All in all we just didn’t feel very welcome. Maybe it wasn’t Jeremy we met. Maybe it was a roommate. Or maybe he was just having a bad day. The pool was nice. The yard is all rocks, two of my dogs had no problem. It was a little difficult for my older dog.

Host replied: Carrie, I did introduce myself when you parked your car, you my have missed it with the chaos of pulling the 3 dogs out of your car and the one running free away from you. As I walk you through the side gate I showed you were the pooper scoper was and we walked back to the pool, I then asked you if you needed anything, I ask if you wanted the hose on and the umbrella up you said no to the hose. You may have been distracted as your dogs were still not under control and you had trouble managing them as we were speaking. Then again I said if you need anything please nock on the door of you needed anything. If you had knocked on the door there was a nice cold water available for you dog. I don't check in with because it's your time with your dog and the hours you rented. The ad clearly shows that the yard is all rock and where the pool is positioned so there should be no surprises for you. I'm sorry you had an unpleasant vist to my Sniffspot I will make improvements the experience is better moving forward.

Dogs had a great time

Our apartment dog enjoyed Jeremy’s backyard. It was her first time in the water so it was nice that pool had wide steps to help her in. He has a beautiful dog that our dog was curious about but he promptly moved her out of the window so they wouldn’t distract eachother. The cushioned patio furniture beside the pool was comfortable. We would come again. Thanks Jeremy & Jax.

This was our very first sniff spot experience and it truly could not have been better! We had such a magical day I'm still smiling. Jeremy provided such a beautiful spot with moveable shade if we desired:) The pool was very clean and the water was just perfect. A beautiful pool and yard. Jerry provided large bowl of ice water for my best friend and offered me some as well. He checked in on us once to see how everything was and if we needed anything and was just such a kind, nice, friendly, gracious host. He definitely set a great tone for sniff spot, and we definitely look forward to visiting Jax's pool again :)
