Our country property offers a serene and spacious environment for your dog to explore, play, and relax. While the area is not fenced, there’s plenty of room to roam with open fields, tree-lined paths, and a charming creek. A trail meanders through the field, leading all the way back to the next concession, providing ample space for sniffing and exploring. Pet owners can unwind at one of our shaded furniture spots or take a peaceful stroll through our garden. Depending on the season, you’re welcome to pick some veggies or flowers to take home. We’ve also provided a convenient water tap at the end of the pool house for your pup’s hydration needs. Please note that while the pool is a beautiful feature of the property, we kindly ask that no pets or people enter the swimming pool. For your peace of mind, I’m often home working on various outdoor projects. If you’d prefer a bit more privacy, just let me know in advance, and I’ll be happy to accommodate your request. Lastly, you might meet our friendly outdoor cat, Kenny Rodgers, during your visit. He’s quite the character but will happily give your dogs space if they’re not feline-friendly. IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD 7 acres of land with hills and a running creek (dirty water). Wooded area behind but partially fenced off. Lower valley can get pretty wet when it rains a lot. Upper area is muddy in spots with winter thawing and lots of rain. Lots of trees for shade. Only bring your dog if they have good recall. Or on longline. Our dogs are always loose on our property but great with recall. We have 2 dogs that will be inside when you visit. Please let me know if you want the kiddie pool in advance. I am currently working on raking the length of the yard because of the walnuts. Still open though!* I do require notice when you book your appointment as I ask frequently out of town but I am flexible. Our fully fenced in spot established in Fall 2024 is very long and narrow, with a small hill at the very back. It’s a great spot for playing fetch, or if your pooch has the zoomies. One of my neighbours has trees along the West side of the fence, creating a lot of shade for your furbabies. The second neighbour has a tall fence up for privacy. There’s a picnic table available for you to use - this is where you’ll find extra poop bags and bug repellent, and also a small bistro set off to the side by the gate that you’re welcomed to sit at too. Help yourself to the dog treats on the picnic table, and toys (available in the purple bin), as well as the pile of sticks for fetch. If the sticks get chewed up no worries lol. Those things can be found along the back of my house. We have some agility equipment - an all seasons commercial fibreglass tunnel, and a big wooden spool with a wooden bench to walk along. Feel free to bring some kibble to toss in the pool noodle pool! It’s a great enrichment activity for your dog(s) - trying to search for the kibble through the pool noodle pieces. The pool noodle pool is available, weather permitting. There’s also fresh drinking water for your dog(s) with a hose nearby to refill the bowl, and a small garbage bin provided for any waste. Please note that there is a neighbour dog who is in his fenced in yard sometimes. Also, I am able to put my chickens in the coop before you come if you request that. I am VERY open to suggestions or ideas to improve this spot via chat. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions or ideas. We have Silkie chickens that stay in their fenced in area on the East side of the property. Nobody around here minds if your dogs bark at them. If you feel the chickens would be too distracting for your dog(s), please let me know and I can try and get them into the coop before your stay. Free wifi available ~ the password will be given when you book your visit. Welcome! The yard is fully fenced with a 5 foot fence. There are free range ducks and chickens on the property. This property is also a business (small boarding and dog training) so there may be other dogs (leashed) outside the fenced area. We will try to avoid this if possible, if you don’t want to see other dogs outside the fence let me know and I can suggest times for total seclusion. Water is provided as well as poop pick up equipment and garbage pail. The entrance to the yard is right at the front of the property, to the left of the driveway. Please pull over on the grass I.
