Escape to Black Dog Farm for fresh air, happy sniffing, and a little adventure at your dog’s pace! Explore our self-guided wooded trail, with sensory stops along the way that invite your pup to sniff, investigate, and enjoy something new. Two marked “pause paths” offer space to step aside and take a quiet break. Your visit also includes use of our pasture, which is a little over 2 acres—plenty of room to wander and explore together. We’re a working farm, so our horses and pig may be visible during your visit. Our other dogs will be put away during your reservation. Please note: the pasture is only partially fenced, and the trail is not enclosed. This is not a fully fenced dog park; bring a leash or long line for exploring safely. Come enjoy a peaceful change of scenery and some quality time with your dog! 🐾

Welcome to McPeak Farm, a peaceful private country retreat where your pup can sniff, explore, roam, and just be a dog! 🌿🐕 Our home sits at the front of the property, where you’ll find everything you and your pup might need during your visit — fresh towels, sunscreen, drinks, snacks, and even treats for the pups! Pull in and park in the gravel to the right, and you can walk down the cleared tree line to our private trail toward the back of the property. Head up the knoll, and we have a cleared ATV trail on your left leading toward the creek, with plenty of natural space to explore along the way. Let your pup take their time sniffing every tree, wandering through the property, and enjoying all the sights and smells that come with country life. The trail becomes completely wooded so on a hot day, the temperature will drop making it a very enjoyable hike for you and your furry friend! No need to worry about muddy paws or your dog getting a little dirty — this is their adventure! 🐾 You may hear a dog barking in the distance, see birds flying overhead, or catch the occasional sounds of country life, but for the most part, you’ll enjoy peace, privacy, and pure country serenity. Whether you want to stop by for a quick hour of enrichment or spend half the day exploring, there’s room to make your visit your own. Welcome to Our Backyard Retreat! 🐾** We're big animal lovers and wanted to share the backyard that our own dog absolutely loves. Our spacious, fully fenced yard is surrounded by mature trees, providing plenty of shade and room for your pup to run, play, and explore. During your visit, you may spot birds, squirrels, and other wildlife. You may also hear neighboring dogs in the distance, but the yard itself is private, peaceful, and well-maintained for your enjoyment. Parking is available along the grass in front of our home. To access the yard, simply walk down the right side of the house where you'll find the gate entrance. For your convenience, we provide access to water and a pooper scooper. We kindly ask that all guests clean up after their pets and help us protect the yard by discouraging digging, as we're working hard to grow healthy grass and keep the area mud-free. We do have a friendly Golden Retriever and work from home, so there's a chance you may see us during your visit. If timing works and your dog enjoys socializing, we'd be happy to arrange a playdate. Otherwise, you're more than welcome to enjoy the space privately at your own pace. We hope you and your pup enjoy your visit as much as ours enjoys calling this backyard home! 🐕🐾
