45Clean, a couple of chairs and a bench, trash can and lots of shade/trees. Kind of small but still a great spot of doggos to sniff around.
45I love Black Forrest. Definitely a cool location. I had some questions on how snowy it was up there today. The owner was very sweet and got back to me right away. I'd give it 5 stars but a few things I wish were different. My dogs are reactive to other dogs. They aren't mean, they just bark and act tough. They were attacked by off leash dogs in the past. I spend a lot of time reversing this behavior with training and management but sometimes I just want to not worry about other dogs and go someplace new where they can be off leash. That was the big appeal to be about renting a space where they could sniff, and run. I saw on the description that the neighbor dogs would come to the fence line and they did but they quickly went away. That was fine because I knew they couldn't get in. Another loose black longhaired dog also came up on the other side, and then another brown scruffy dog. Because the fence is not designed for dogs, the brown dog went right through and I had to put my dogs in the car for the rest of the time. Honestly, it may not have been the normal for this location but the fact that stranger dogs can just pass through the fence with ease is a problem. I also was worried that my dogs would get cut on the barbed wire. It's just something to be cautious about. Anyoo.. this is a Great spot for dogs that have a perfect recall and are friendly with stranger dogs.
45Beautiful spot in the forest! As others have said, it would be a 5 star spot if the wire fencing continued along the street instead of just barbed wire. The toy I brought kept rolling under the wire. Luckily the road was quiet and my dog figured it out eventually. Great spot if your dog likes to chase sticks! Be smarter than me and wear bug spray for the mosquitoes.
55 Great spot! Only small area of just barbed wire for fencing. Shaded area with chairs, mostly quite!
55Great little woods area for dogs to get zoomies!
55It was easily accessible and clean. Also had chairs and dog bags. The area isn’t huge, but it’s still a nice size for them to run around in. There were no other people or animals around (other than occasional people walking by on the road) My pups had a great time!
55Really nice spot! Ellie (our black lab) got some good zoomies in and we had a great time playing with her! ;-) The space is on the small size - but, plenty of places to sniff and Ellie was able to get some running in (small dog would be in heaven!). Only concern is some barbed wire vs. just wire fence on one of the sides adjacent to the barbed wire by the road. But overall beautiful area to spend some play time with your dog. ;-)
55Awesome place! Autumn is great and my dogs absolutely loved it. Deeper snow than anticipated but no big deal the dogs had a ball eating snow and catching snowballs! Will for sure be coming back!!
55Awesome spot in Black Forest with just enough room to get out my border collie’s energy! There are a few seating spots, and poo bags and a trash can to make it easy to pick up after your pet. There are a few tree stumps around that my son had to be careful of when running and playing with our dog but that’s so minor and just requires a bit of common sense. Jack loved his time and I only wish we could’ve stayed for our full booking but it just got too cold! Will definitely go earlier next time. We’ll for sure be back!
55Autumn's dog park was AMAZING! A great amount of space for my two pups to get all their zoomies out. Host even worked with me on booking since I mixed up my time slots. Highly recommend.
