55The best Sniffspot in the Eugene area! There’s a really fun agility course set up, toys, towels, water, and everything else you need! My favorite spot easily!
55As always, a fantastic time. It was a great space to celebrate a dog birthday party. 🥰
55Still a fun spot for us, can't wait for the full area, but always a good time.
55great clean spot with a rain shelter and chairs for people to sit, and lots of space for dogs to run.
55Lovely fenced in area with a nice shed to get out of any wind or rain.
55This was our first visit to Pleasant Hills, but we will certainly be back; what a wonderful spot! Our two dogs ran their little hearts out, and they started to explore/learn to use the agility equipment within the area. The host was charming and very informative, and the space was super clean with every convenience provided like lovely chairs, dog toys, a table and covered area--all really clean. The hosts have really gone the extra mile here to make this a great spot to help your dogs work out their energy. Thank you so much!
55Our first time here and Scout loved it! Janet came out and showed me the area and where toys, towels, etc were kept. She is super friendly and her spot is very clean. The space had plenty of room for Scout to run and he even tried some of the agility equipment. We will definitely be back! Thank you!
55Very welcoming! Clean, safe environment, and quiet leaving me with a positive impression. Look forward to returning, especially when the larger field has been cleared of tree damage.
55As always, the experience was fantastic. I continue to appreciate the existence of this Sniffspot.

We have lived in our home for over 22 years. I have raised and trained Border Collies since 1988 and have competed at sheep dog trials in California and Arizona. Due to injury requiring surgery, I have been out of the sport that I love for over 10 years. I have trained many of the herding breeds. We have raised a few Great Pyrenees over the years. We had over 40 head of sheep at one time but reduced when I had surgery. I am slowly getting back to training.

Note on Facility Restoration: the storm damage is slowly being cleaned up. I have had to hire professional loggers to help in two phases of the clean up due to the dangers of the situation. I still have logs to remove from the area and fencing to rebuild. In the reconstruction process I will be changing the entrance to be nearer the parking area with an information kiosk built in. I look forward to when dogs can return to the sanctuary. Thank you to all my amazing guests who have given your dog(s) opportunity to find their calm within by visiting Jasper Memorial Sanctuary. It is amazing to see your dogs and you finding your inner peace. Thank you too for following all of the rules to keep this SS sustainable into the future. The fee set is the amount needed to allow me to keep this site open and provide improvements when needed. (I understand other sites charge less, but I've learned charging less is not financially sustainable. Hosts do not earn what they charge). I love hosting new and returning guests. RECENT IMPROVEMENTS: A 6'x6' sand box has been added. Please encourage digging in this location. Discourage digging in all other locations for the safety of everyone. A poop bag dispenser has been installed on a post near the gate and will be kept filled. MEMBERSHIP AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST to repeat/returning guests after we have met. Please message me if interested.
