Difficult to find - host didn’t respond to my messages to provide a combination to the gate so I parked at the beginning of the trail and hoped it was the right spot. Afterwards it was a great time! My pup loved the trails and having access to the water on a 90 day was a nice perk. It took a few tries on trails to figure out which way would get us down there. Now that I’ve been I’d definitely go again. It was our own private hike.
The property isn’t marked with anything indicating you are at the correct place (no address and lots of no trespassing signs.) So, it’s pretty difficult to find. But, once you do, the water features are beautiful. The dogs had an amazing time.

I am a dog lover and naturalist pure and simple. And I have hundreds of acres at my disposal to assure you and your dog have a wonderful experience.
Open yard/field/pasture perfect for stretching legs, playing fetch, training, scent work, recall, agility etc. There is a barbed wire fence on three sides that keeps in cattle. There is low traffic on nearby roads. There is a friendly Livestock Guardian Dog who stays near the house at the back of the property. He will bark to alert us that you are there. There are dogs and cats on the property who will be securely put away during visits.
2 acre pond for dogs to train and swim. Partially fenced , but off a main road. Total of 3 acres. Leashes not required but to do so is at your own risk. Bring your own chairs, water etc. please remove all trash you may have as no trash cans are available. You may park past the pond on the grass to your left by the big trees too if you like since it’s so hot. just allow for access for delivery’s etc. We are open for outside events for any rescue group that needs a venue as well. Just message me here for information. Due to the severe heat/dryness, the pond is currently low. Swimming for dogs is at owner’s discretion, I will update here as weather changes. Thank you for understanding. Please have fun and be respectful of our property and neighbors! If you end up liking our area please spread the word! Thank you!
Poochie Garden is a sensory experience with plenty of shade and room to zoom! Warm-weather water features include a 2×3×1' pup pool for wading and splashing, plus a tiered ceramic fountain, both with solar-powered pumps. Turf includes bare dirt, cypress and cedar mulch, short grass, and large beds of tall ornamental grass as natural snuffle spots, plus a sand digging garden along with varied natural rock, cobblestone, and wooden deck walking surfaces - all securely contained within a 6-foot wooden privacy fence. Treat-tipping bottles, a rocker balance board, agility weaving-pole and jump-hurdle practice walk (for an intro, not for speed), a stump walk, a curated selection of toys, and plenty of other sensory experiences add to your pup's best day. Bring kibble or treats to challenge your hound to the mental stimulation of a puzzle or two. Pup-safe plantings of marigolds, spearmint, strawberry, catnip, wheat grass, lavender, thyme, oregano, phlox, and more offer your pooch plenty to explore, sniff, and nibble. Humans can rest in the chairs on the deck or in the garden and enjoy the sounds of water, chimes, and birds while your pooch plays. Seasonal and static picturesque photo ops are plentiful! Include a human friend or two and their dogs in your reservation if you'd like to share the garden experience! Note that there are a few steps and slopes into and around the yard that may impact access for those with mobility challenges and limitations. Poochie Garden is a certified Wildlife Habitat, so you may encounter birds, rabbits, toads, butterflies, spiders, bees, and other friends while you visit. Please enjoy their presence and do no harm. Lovely, large fenced area that is partially shaded with big trees. Very small pond on the property. Please make sure to bring everything you’ll need to make this a fun and safe time for you and your dog. Bags are provided for picking up after your dog.
There is 6 acres to run on and sniff around! Do have a little fence but it is for my 5 dogs I have myself.
Leashes and Lashes is a fear free training, grooming, boarding, and doggie daycare facility in Jacksonville! Our second classroom has opened up to the public during select hours for a training/play space. This room has water, treats, balls, squeak toys, and more! It also had central heat and air, keeping it the perfect temperature for you and your pup!
Short term rental house is under construction on the “spot” so be careful of hazards. The spot is becoming an Airbnb overnight stay property, so please keep safe distance from structure and debris. Also there is an open trench for future water line from street to house, wildlife and dead limbs/branches. We live on 9.5 acres of private property, located just 8 miles from Costco and the promenade shopping center. Luki's park is an all natural wooded area and has a creek that runs through the entire property, but depends on the recent rains. It is mostly flat ground but then transitions to hilly other side of the creek. The 5 approx acres will be designated for your pets. You can drive in or park on the shoulder of the street and walk in. The property line is fenced only on 3 sides. The spot/"park" is designated for the left side of our property, not behind our house. Stay inside the fence. The other side of the fence is my neighbors and you will be trespassing if you cross the fence. There is plenty of space to let them run so come and let them take in all of the wildlife smells and stretch those legs!
