45Difficult to find - host didn’t respond to my messages to provide a combination to the gate so I parked at the beginning of the trail and hoped it was the right spot. Afterwards it was a great time! My pup loved the trails and having access to the water on a 90 day was a nice perk. It took a few tries on trails to figure out which way would get us down there. Now that I’ve been I’d definitely go again. It was our own private hike.
45The property isn’t marked with anything indicating you are at the correct place (no address and lots of no trespassing signs.) So, it’s pretty difficult to find. But, once you do, the water features are beautiful. The dogs had an amazing time.

Description

This place is special!! And jaw-dropping beautiful! Sparky, the stone mason who quarried, cut and stacked every rock on every trail within the campground, has created a wondrous place to come camp and explore. We are now restoring Sparky's original homestead -- the one room cabin (soon to be our new "romantic retreat"), outdoor kitchen and shower, a two-hole traditional Swedish utedass–or privy, and a chicken house. As to where to explore -- well everywhere. Let your dog run and stretch its legs or take a swim in the creek or sniff the many crevices and caves found on the property. This is the place.

Cleanliness

100% of guests said this spot was as clean as expected during their visit.

Poochie Garden: Little Rock's Sensory & Enrichment Garden - Fully Lit & Open Late

Poochie Garden is a sensory experience with plenty of shade and room to zoom! Warm weather features a small pup pool for wading and splashing. Turf includes bare dirt, cypress and cedar mulch, short grass, and large beds of tall ornamental grass as natural snuffle spots, plus a sand digging garden along with varied natural rock, cobblestone, and wooden deck walking surfaces - all securely contained within a 6-foot wooden privacy fence. Treat-tipping bottles, a rocker balance board, agility weaving-pole and jump-hurdle practice walk (for an intro, not for speed), a stump walk, a curated selection of toys, and plenty of other sensory experiences add to your pup's best day. Bring kibble or treats to challenge your hound to the mental stimulation of a puzzle or two. Pup-safe plantings of marigolds, spearmint, strawberry, catnip, wheat grass, lavender, thyme, oregano, phlox, and more offer your pooch plenty to explore, sniff, and nibble. Humans can rest in the chairs on the deck or in the garden and enjoy the sounds of water, chimes, and birds while your pooch plays. Seasonal and static picturesque photo ops are plentiful! Include a human friend or two and their dogs in your reservation if you'd like to share the garden experience!
