Our spacious yard features a large swimming pool perfect for dogs who love the water. We provide a variety of dog toys to keep tails wagging, as well as dog life jackets for pups who are new to swimming or just need a little extra support. To keep everyone comfortable, fresh cold water is always available for your dog, and complimentary bottled water is provided for human guests. Dog waste bags are also supplied throughout your visit for convenience. Whether your pup wants to splash in the pool, zoom around the yard, play fetch, or simply relax and sniff to their heart's content, The House of Woof offers a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for dogs of all sizes. We also have resident chickens on the property, so we ask that owners keep this in mind when determining if the space is a good fit for their dogs. This is a quiet, relaxing environment away from busy dog parks and city noise, making it great for exercise, enrichment, decompression, and one-on-one adventures with your dog. Please note: This property is not fenced, and there are chickens on-site and livestock nearby. Dogs should remain under their owner’s control at all times. We have 5 acres of land that is fully enclosed with a fence. Roughly 1.5 acres - 2 acres is cleared land, perfect for running and activity. The remainder is forested. We reside next to a nature preserve, so wild animal encounters can occur. We have seen bears, coyotes, and snakes. Most of these occur in the morning time. The fence up front has some larger holes that a small dog could get through, but this is far away from the primary area located in the back. There are plants toxic to dogs around the house, so it is probably best to remain in the open areas.
