55A great place in the city to let my reactive dog run around! It’s nice to have a secure area where he can safely be off leash. People and other dogs are visible through the fence, so just keep that in mind if your dog is reactive or doesn’t like seeing others. Overall, it’s a great spot for dogs that need room to run and burn off some energy.

55It’s so nice to be able to take the dogs there to get sniffs of other dogs without them actually being there! We appreciate Barkside for being a Sniffspot!
55This is a really cute place and close to Detroit making it easier for us. Water is available and there are balls to play with your puppies. One thing to note if you are taking your high energy dogs here to run around maybe have boots on their feet. The concrete and wood chips scrapped our dogs’ feet. Totally on us since we didn’t think about this and would go back but with boots on. There are a lot on scents for the dogs and our dogs enjoyed walking around. There are a lot of people walking, walking with their dogs, running, and bicycling - just something to consider for reactive dogs. We went around 7:30am by 8:45am this neighborhood is busy with people so timing was definitely something to consider as well with reactive dogs.

55Great space with lots of room for pups to roam and sniff! Water bowl and tennis balls were provided, as were multiple waste bag stations. Definitely recommend if you've wanted to check out Barkside but have reactive dogs!

There is a porch with chairs to sit on and kiddie pools for the dogs in the summer. Now that summer is here i added a photo of the location of the kiddie pools and the hose. If they are empty feel free to fill them up! There is a hose that you are more than welcome to use for the dogs. I provide water bowls and poop bags along with a scooper. There are zero gaps in the fence.
