Private, Fully Fenced Yard in Sister Lakes – Reactive Dogs Welcome! Looking for a safe place for your dog to run, sniff, explore, or simply relax? My yard is fully fenced with a secure 4-foot black-coated chain-link fence and is reserved exclusively for you during your visit. While neighboring homes are visible through the fence, the yard itself is not shared with anyone else. Amenities include: 🐾 Fully fenced and gated yard 🐾 Reactive, shy, and nervous dogs welcome 🐾 Freshly washed water bowl provided before every visit 🐾 Waste bags and trash can available 🐾 Patio table and chairs for relaxing 🐾 Shaded areas for warm days 🐾 Outdoor lighting for evening visits 🐾 Fire pit available for use (please bring your own firewood) 🐾 Children welcome I live on the property and am usually home during visits, but I respect guests' privacy and will not enter the yard unless requested. A little about me: This yard was originally built for my two senior dogs, who enjoyed their retirement years here before crossing the rainbow bridge. While I'm not ready to adopt again, I'm happy to share their favorite space with other dogs and their humans. I look forward to welcoming you and your pup to Sister Lakes! ❤️🐕🐾

Please be respectful of my neighbors. All dogs must be leashed if not in the fenced yard (neighborhood rules). 1. No more than 4 dogs 2 No more than 4 people 3. Smoking is allowed, ashtrays are provided, DO NOT FLICK BUTTS IN THE YARD PLEASE. 4. I do have a firepit. a minimum of 2 hours must be reserved to use it. There is no extra fee. Hi! I'm Megan. This yard was originally built for my two senior pups, who lived out their golden years here before crossing the rainbow bridge. I'm not ready to adopt again just yet, but I figured the yard should still be filled with happy dogs. The yard is fully enclosed with a secure 4' black-coated chain-link fence and is located in the Sister Lakes Wildwood neighborhood on Cable Lake. It's a great spot for zoomies, sniffing adventures (I do not use any pesticides or fertilizers), training sessions, or just relaxing in the grass. For quite some time now, my husband has been restoring this land as a nature preserve, bringing back shortgrass and tallgrass prairie, along with a small pond and wetland area. It’s been a labor of love—years of removing invasive species and re-establishing native plants. The wildflowers and grasses are thriving, with peak blooms throughout June, July, and August. By September, many of the plants begin setting seed, which is still a beautiful and important part of the natural prairie cycle. The designated trail offers a tidy, easy walk through the nature area. If your dog chooses to roam off trail, they’re stepping into a more immersive slice of Midwest prairie. With that experience can come sticker plants, burrs, mud, uneven ground, and the occasional wet area. If you want to keep your pup clean and sticker-free, we recommend staying on the trail.… because nature! Thank you for allowing us to share this special place with you and for giving your dog a place to explore, enjoy nature, and stretch their legs. Plenty of open space to roam surrounded by a treeline. Also you can use the firepit and seating. There is a large grassy plot, then you can walk a trail on either side of the pond, then there is a large prairie spot in back of pond.
