Description

Tucked just outside the Dundee city limits, our peaceful, fully fenced 5-acre field offers a little slice of freedom for your dog. Away from the road and very private, it's a perfect place for dogs to safely romp, sniff or calmly explore at their own pace. This is a currently unused farm field is near our home, you might see us coming and going—but during your visit, the spot is entirely yours to enjoy. This is a welcoming space for all dogs and their people, and we’re genuinely glad to share it with you.

We are located in the middle of wine country. This is a previous horse pasture, so the ground is uneven. Humans should not run in the field. The field is on Hwy 240, so there is traffic noise. The neighbor's fence is 40 feet away from the park's perimeter so there is no contact possible with other dogs. Bring water. I do not provide water because shared water bowls can spread many diseases. Two chairs are under the apple tree .

The property includes 30 unfenced acres of tall grass, trees, and quiet trails. The main trail makes up the perimeter of the property. It is 1 mile long and you will need to traverse underneath the bridge to Accsess the second half. There is limited access to the Yamhill River on both sides of the bridge. Some areas will be swampy during the winter and spring, especially in the lower sections. Please be aware of common forest hazards such as blackberry bushes, poison oak, nettles, and the occasional downed tree. There are no homes, restrooms or residents on the property only neighbors and a small garden area. You are welcome to explore both sides of the bridge. While there are "No Trespassing" signs posted near it, they are only intended to discourage the local homeless community. During the summer and fall, feel free to enjoy the fruit growing throughout the property most of which is at the far NW end of the grass road near the entrance. Deer and a variety of birds also call this place home and are best left undisturbed. You will find a couple of chairs and a small table set out for you to enjoy a quiet moment or watch the sunset. Please be respectful of our neighbors and remember to pick up after yourself and your dogs. Much of the property is being reforested in partnership with the USDA. / NRCS and is intentionally wild.
