The Land

We had a wonderful time! It is important to me that my dogs are able to spend time off-leash in nature, and this was a wonderful place to do that. We also had fun using the slack line and tire swing! It took us a few minutes to figure out where to park and how to find the trail. But once we were there, we had a lot of fun. We will be back!

This is exactly what we were looking for! My family had a great time hiking and playing on the zip line, swings and slack line. My pup loved splashing in the creek and running at top speed to his heart’s content. He’s a high energy spirit who is finally resting quietly. We’ll be back again and again!

This was a great spot for my pup to frolic. The trails are marked with string which makes them easy to find. I initially had some trouble understanding the entrance, but basically you just park at the very beginning of the gravel road close to the main road, and then walk up. A great spot if you have a pup who lose to run, bu thas a good recall

This spot is awesome for anyone who loves walking trails but just can’t enjoy the beautiful mountains and parks of NC with their reactive dog. Lots of fun stuff to sniff and the trail is plenty long enough. We had a great time!

This is such a wonderful spot! Lots of clean, safe space for dogs to run and play. Our dogs had so much fun splashing around and running in the creek. I’d recommend bringing towels to dry off your pups. The trail is well marked and easy to follow. We would 100% recommend this property and are so grateful that the property owners have chosen to open this beautiful area to sniffspot. Our dogs left extremely happy and exhausted! Anna was quick and easy to communicate with. We did encounter an off leash neighborhood dog on the shared road near the entrance when we parked. It was curious and watched us for awhile, but kept its distance. It ran back home after a few minutes and we did not have any issues. I only mention this because if you have a reactive dog, seeing a lone off leash dog could be stressful. It did not bother our dogs or us at all. We did wait for it to leave before taking our dogs out. This cut into our time a little, but Anna was really wonderful about holding the spot for us so we could get our full hour in. We will definitely be back!

Repeat visitors!

We had a great time here! So much so that we extended our hour into two. The pups played an epic game of tag, found lots to smell, and a creek to splash in. Anna was prompt to respond and very helpful.
