45Nice host. Large area partially fenced with a pond and farm animals nearby. Plenty of space to run or play and once the deck is repaired and the deadly algae has cleared with cooler weather it should be a fun splash space. It’s august and my pups were exhausted filthy wet and happy fairly quickly in the humidity. They spooked a poor friendly horse, noticed the driveway will let them run as far up the road as they think they want to if I’m not looking, and one got herself stuck on the wrong side of some fencing and tangled in a rope at the edge of the pond. I didn’t expect to get into the pond myself today but in I went to rescue a silly pup. It’s a nice place for other dogs. Mine just aren’t easy to maintain here. Big boy just wanted to keep crashing through an open garage with auto parts, cars, tools etc..and I’m guessing some critters he couldn’t get too but could hear. I did distract them a couple of times away from a friendly cat sitting on the back porch. That might have been an entirely different disaster for all of us. Other than it being the hot part of summer when no one can really maintain a large overgrown property ( I get it we’ve neglected our yards too in the heat ) it has great potential. Just too many danger zones with glass and debris, broken wood on the dock and my nut of a pup who just wanted to go chase the horses on the other side of the pond. Don’t give up on it because I think sitting by the water with a better dog in a cooler evening will be a very nice experience!
