Description

Private property with 5+ acres of both a manicured lawn for frisbee tossing, belly rubs, and stick chases! Also we have a woodland walking track for sniffing and exploring, possibly ending in a swim in our 1/4 acre pond. All privately field fenced.

HOST NOTE

Walking trail is woodland and native with exposed roots and rocks- so watch your step, (due to this we have NO after dusk appointments). The field and open (tall) grassy areas could certainly have “vermin” crops (like stickers) and pesky insects (like ticks) and/or spiders and snakes! ** in warm months, Insect repellent is provided (in the guest box), but Nature often finds a way, so staying on the large front lawn might be an option for ya! In Spring during (garden) planting months, please “try” to keep your puppers on the paths. In Summer, often watering hoses are scattered about so no tripping allowed! Unlike past years the brush along the roadside did not grow in very heavy this year. As such some old barbed wire fencing is exposed, especially in winter. I’ve ribboned it as a good visual reminder to keep pups away from the fencing along the roadside. We are closed on Fridays for all our property maintenance, which includes using a lawn service for weed control and fertilization and a pond management company. If your dog is sensitive to (non organic) lawn products, please message me for date of last treatment. There is a garden shed and a storage roll off. Please do not open these doors if closed or enter if open. Lastly, there are two small open (3 sided) barns which operate as our property workshop or equipment storage. Please be mindful of tools and equipment in this area and know that they are not “pup proofed” areas. This spot has a popular water feature. We use a professional service to keep the pond healthy and worry free. We have No visits after dusk through dawn (due to walking hazards on the wooded trails). ***Last note- loud, joyful laughter while enjoying your dog(s) running and enjoying themselves is highly contagious! *** if you don’t find an available time slot, are under the required reservation time, or want to invite more guy dogs for a “pup pond pawty”, text me and let me know- I love being spontaneous and hopefully we can accommodate you. 🐾

The property is gated, the gate will be open when you are coming, please be sure to have your dog/dogs on leash until you get into the pasture area. There is plenty of parking, so bring your friends!
