The entrance is on the east side of our property, NOT via our house/garage. You can park on the street, or drive right into the yard, if that's easier. We have 2 dogs on the property but they will not be allowed in the reserved area. They are in a separate area that is fenced and they are not visible. It’s approximately a 1/2 mile long from the old green shop parking area to the end of the big top pasture. The very large grass pasture at the top of the hill is edged with wild brush (and a very old 4 foot page wire fence) is all on the outside perimeter, the only open spot is the 2 front gates. But recall is good to have as I don’t completely trust fences as I’ve seen some pretty good escape artists get over much higher wooden fences. There are 2 smaller pastures at the bottom of the hill before the bush areas as well, and one side has a little bit of a pond/standing water on it. You could also see some wildlife on your walk. We hope you will consider us for your dogs exercise needs, and are looking forward to having you explore our private ranch pasture. 🐾 🐾

Better Than Home 25 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Sherwood Park

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD Barbwire fenced, country setting, 25+ acre parcel. Plenty of trails, hills, short and tall grass, and open fields. Private dog park at your convenience. We do run a Boarding Kennel. There is a chance when parking, that’s there may be dogs in our large yard, behind a fence. We recommend keeping your dog on leash for about 1 or 2 mins of your walk into the off leash area, if you have a reactive dog. We will however try our best to work around our sniff spot guests as well.

Hours of Operation: Sunrise to Sunset IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD For PARK #2, please continue PASSED(south) of the Kingsfield Kennels yellow sign 100m. Park #2 gate is on the right hand side with its own Park# 2 sign. Pull up, open gate, drive in and close securely behind you before letting out your dogs. Fully fenced 3.5 acre private dog park. There is a small gap (8"at the most) under the entrance gate. This park is more rustic and best for MEDIUM SIZED and up dogs. There is a large field and forest paths to explore and a massive dirt pile for digging/climbing! Grass is not mowed often here so grass is longer. Please discourage your pup(s) from digging in the open field. Please dress appropriately for the weather and terrain. Property monitored via cameras so please ensure correct dog numbers and rules are being followed. Public gravel road does border the park on one side so please be careful of vehicles/traffic. Sheep and cattle will often be visible from spot as well along the west sides. Fence can be difficult to see at a distance so ensure your dog(s) know the boundaries. No children under 12 please. Max 2 people per dog and 2 vehicles per visit. Please note: Hose Water is only available when there is no chance of freezing at night(roughly mid May to October)
