Description

Enjoy the beauty of our 75 acre farm with your dog! Our walking path is approximately 6 ft wide and borders the exterior of our pasture-based farm. Most of the path has a 6 wire electric fence beside it for our cattle. There are two creeks with bridges that you can cross (with potential wet puddles). The entire farm is approximately a 35-40 minute walk depending on your pace, but you can always turn around for a shorter walk. Plenty of area for your dog to sniff and enjoy on a private walk! This sniffspot does require you to have your dog leashed at all times.

Uneven path: Just like a hike in the woods, our path is uneven and has bridges or footpaths you need to cross. Electric fence: We have a 6 wire electric fence around our farm adjacent to the walking path. The bottom wire is not shocking, but we cannot turn the fence off for your visit. The voltage is enough to hurt, but not harm a dog. We suggest keeping your dog and yourselves from touching it. This spot has a water feature, make sure to review these guidelines for visiting spots with water before visiting: https://help.sniffspot.com/article/167-how-to-keep-your-dog-safe-around-pools-and-water" We do not recommend that you allow your dogs to drink from our creek since we cannot guarantee the quality of the water. Large water filled wetlands: Sometimes our bridges may not be accessible through the wetlands because of standing water. Do not walk through high standing water above your shoes (only during flood events). Feel free to double back whenever you wish. Roadway: Path does go along roadway in the grass along the fence, however, you can always avoid the road by doubling back.

A huge tree was removed not too long ago. There is still chips that have to be cleaned up in the middle of the yard. Otherwise there’s chairs around a fire pit where you may relax and a huge umbrella that can give you shade. There’s is also a hammock you may enjoy! Logan's Heroes Animal Rescue has a large fenced in yard that is also used as a training yard for events at the rescue known as The Beacon Training Field. This is a fully fenced in yard with approximately 4 and half foot high fencing. Nice area to privately play ball or let dogs play. All proceeds from the usage of the yard benefit Logan's Heroes Animal Rescue. Please clean up after your dog and keep this area clean for the next person. Please note that this is at our rescue where we do adoption appointments. You may see other dogs in the driveway or walking in and out of our office. Weekends tend to be our busiest time for adoptions and when most people are visiting other areas of the farm.
