We have decided to reduce the hours of our sniffspot for the summer due to the influx of camping and pool reservations, meaning there are more people on our property at all times. If you would like to visit our sniffspot this summer, we are happy to open on a case by case situation! Just message me! We look forward to re-opening in the fall! Your dogs will have a blast running around River Camp Dogpark, located on Southside Fort Wayne. We have a large meadow, and woods with more than 1/2 mile of maintained trails. The woods run right up to the St Marys River behind us, and there is a creek that borders the side of our property. When the river level is low, there is a rocky beach so your dogs can swim! Plenty of squirrels to chase! Walk or drive straight back on the white gravel driveway to the woods, and that driveway leads directly to the trails in the woods, and to the St Mary's River. There is a large meadow in front of the woods to run around in as well! There is a restroom with flush toilet available at the pool (April-October), and in the winter there is a portapotty in the woods. Just a small yard I thought would be nice in the Kendallville area, specially for all the apartment dogs or dogs that aren’t tolerant of other dogs. My yard is definitely not perfect and still a work in progress, as there’s an area with no grass and some small weak spots in the fence, and these issues are all currently being worked on. Your dog will be able to use all their senses and get out all their energy in the yard. Some of the features include a pool, a scent garden area, and a variety of new animal scents! You are more than welcome to use the fire pit as long as you provide your own wood. All plants in the yard are dog friendly herbs! I generally do not meet my guest, however I am more than happy to come meet you upon request! We have 15 acres of Heaven on Earth! On our beautiful property we have a large yard, pond, grassy fields with trails and also trails into the woods. If you love the outdoors you’ll love it here. We do not have any fencing so it will be at your discretion should you take your dog off leash. Even leashed, it’s a great walk for your dog. We have a poop scoop shovel, dog waste bags too, water bowls if needed and a hose for water. The pond does get treated during the summer months for algae, however, is safe for play after 24 hours. We will notify you if the pond should not be accessed. Years ago we had a dog who after a home invasion no longer could be around strange people or dogs. We struggled to find places to go where we wouldn’t run into people or pets. Knowing this we want to open up our property for you to enjoy whether you have a traumatized dog like we did or just want to get outside and play. Let us know what questions you have.

We have 4 connected neighborhood's with 5 ponds with gorgeous landscaping to walk around, including the small one across the street (on leash). Then you can set them free in our fenced yard & enjoy our Hammock, Deck or Patio when you are not playing with your fur baby(ies). We have shade, sun, lots of flowers, grass, mulch, flat ground, plus a hill & steps - your pup's choice to run on. Trash bins in back for doggy bags & a table with wifi password for you to use to get some work done while your fur buddy gets some sun or exercise. We do have our own little 9 lb.Chiweenie (@DinkyTheChiweenie on Instagram) when we are home but can either visit or not when you are here. He is scared of dogs over 12 lbs so we will likely just stay in while your bigger dog(s) visit 😉
