Come for zoomies, sniffing, enrichment, training, or simply having a secure space all to YOURSELVES. ✨ Built for How Dogs Actually Play The yard includes a rotating mix of enrichment such as a flirt pole, herding ball or egg, scent games, fetch toys, tug toys, and other favorites. Strong or destructive chewers can use toys from our clearly marked Power Chewer Uglies bin. Toy availability may vary. 🐾 Private + Reactive-Dog Friendly Your booking is completely private with no shared dogs or guest interaction. Privacy screening helps block direct views of neighbors, pedestrians, and nearby dogs. 📍We're an urban residential neighborhood, so normal neighborhood sounds may still be present, including people nearby and occasional barking from dogs in the area. 🚫 Nearby dogs do not have access to your booked space or our fence line.🚫 Our personal dog remains indoors or fully separated during visits. 💧 Easy, Comfortable Visits Guests have access to: Free WiFi Seating for two Poop bags and trash can Secure coded entry Leash hanger Bluetooth speaker at a respectful volume On-site parking Refillable water station with bowl-cleaning supplies Dog wash station available for an additional charge when operational 🙋‍♀️ Hands-Off Hosting We respect your space. Keep your pup leashed if you are heading to use the Pawsh Wash Station. We cannot guarantee that portion of the yard is closed off. Keep your dog close to you as you head towards the bath. • Neighbors across the street may have their black lab out, and he may bark. You can hear him, but your dog can't see him. Or access him. • 🌦️ Florida weather is unpredictable. No weather-related refunds or credits. Please check the forecast before booking. Book at your own risk.

If plans change, please pay for an additional dog via Venmo QR code. 🔷 If using the Pawsh Wash station 🔷 ❌ Do not open the gate marked "Dogs in Yard" unless heading to the Pawsh Wash. ✔️ Keep your dog leashed when heading to and from the Pawsh Wash station. ✔️ If you want to use the Pawsh Wash Station last minute, please text us and use Venmo QR code.

Hi, I’m Danica. I’m a professional pet sitter, dog walker, certified dog trainer, and the creator of The Zoomie Zone in Gainesville, Florida. The Zoomie Zone was inspired by my own dog, Tomo, a large, athletic Shiloh Shepherd who needed a safe place to run, decompress, and just be a dog. Over time, I saw how many dogs do not have access to private outdoor space, especially reactive dogs, shy dogs, foster dogs, and dogs living in apartments or student housing. This space was built with those dogs in mind. I take a force free, reward based approach to care and training, with a strong emphasis on enrichment, safety, and understanding canine body language. I believe dogs thrive when they are given choice, structure, and environments that support success without pressure or overstimulation. I work closely with local Gainesville rescues and offer permanent discounts to foster programs, because I understand how important decompression and predictability can be for dogs in transition. The Zoomie Zone is fully private, hands off, and exclusively yours for the duration of your booking. I do not meet guests unless specifically requested. Many guests use the space for stress free play, confidence building, training sessions, sniff work, or simply letting their dog relax without distractions. My goal is to provide a calm, secure, judgment free environment where dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels can move, explore, and unwind at their own pace. Hello, We would like to welcome our dog friends to our private fully fenced wooded dog park we named The North Star Ranch. The North Star is positioned right over our entrance, and you might see it if you stay at the ranch late. Please bring your own water, snacks, poo bags. Also we have no trash collection, so please take your waste home with you. This is what we do as well. Consider a visit to our ranch a visit to nature that has been fenced in for your dogs’ convenience. And as in all Florida woods, there are some safety concerns you need to be aware of before your reservation. There are more or less visible stumps and vines all over the ranch. There are also some prickly cacti, buckthorn bushes and brambles. Tree logs and trunks have been arranged in some areas as edging for trails. The ranch is a work in progress and we are very slowly cutting prickly plants back to where they aren’t in dogs’ faces, but it’s taking us a while. Long pants and closed toed shoes are very much recommended. We also suggest tick spray if you’re worried about them. We find that in winter time they are rare. Mosquito cream is available during summer months at the gate. We recommend you use it. There is a 20 liter canister of water for dogs available at the picnic table along with a black rubber bowl. There is a back gate at the ranch and we don’t suggest venturing out of, as the back of the property is NOT fenced, and trails are grown over. Please stay in the fenced-in area only for your safety! We hope you and your dog enjoy lots of sniffing while you’re either strolling along or sitting down in one of our picnic areas. There is some agility equipment available at your discretion. Please use it wisely and look out for your pet’s safety first. Wilderness warning! ⚠️ Snakes have been spotted at the ranch several times. Our dogs run through the ranch daily, so wildlife is used to human and canine presence. This was their home before we enclosed it, so we respect their presence and move around them if we spot them. To this date we haven’t had any negative experience with the wildlife, and we surely want to see you stay safe as well. Keep your eyes open if you veer off the main paths, and have some treats in your pocket to help call your dog back to you in case of a snake sighting. The sightings definitely drop off in the colder months. We hope you enjoy our ranch as much us we do! Our dogs absolutely love it and we lovingly nicknamed this place our “sanity ranch”. Enjoy!
