Lovely large area for dogs to run around! Sarah was very clear about how to get there. There’s a little pond which might be fun to splash around in the summer. Our dogs had a blast! PS we were a bit nervous because our reactive dog ran off towards the end where he heard a car or something & it’s totally unfenced and not secluded (other houses/farms in the distance). His recall is decent so he came back to us but just something to keep in mind!

Brooks had a wonderful time! He loved exploring, smelling all the smells and practicing his recall. Lots of open space to play fetch and run around!

Maggie had an absolute blast! The open field is perfect for throwing a ball or just allowing your dog for some off leash fun. The pond was quite muddy, but the bank is low enough that my dog didn’t struggle to get in an out despite the mud. We will definitely be back, especially when it warms up. Definitely agree with Sarah’s warning about smaller vehicles being unable to get up the driveway, but it wasn’t much of a challenge for my mid-size suv.

This is my favorite spot by far. My dogs love running around here ❤️

Currently writing this while our pups are passed out on the couch after spending time at Dragonfly Hollow. They could not have had a better time! It was so nice to have such a large space for them to run around and just be dogs. Our puppy even cannonballed a few times into the pond despite the cold weather 😂 We will for sure be back— especially in the spring/summer!

Our dog is snoozing thanks to all the running she did at Dragonfly Hollow.

This was a great spot - huge outdoor space for the dogs to run around, and lots of high grass and mud for playing and sniffing! We will definitely be back. Heed the owners warning and go slowly and carefully on the driveway - it is very rough terrain, just on the edge of manageable with a small car. Be aware that this area is unfenced and there are off-leash dogs on a neighboring property - we just kept to the other side and we were fine, but a more reactive dog might struggle with this arrangement.

UPDATE: Our spot is only open sporadically since we are building a small home on the property and there will be construction going on. Please message me if you want to set up a time to bring your dogs out. I am a middle school art teacher and artist who lives on 38 agricultural acres close to Baltimore. We live on the edge of the dairy farm my grandfather and his brothers owned for years. Now it is a local peach, apple and berry orchard. My kids are the 6th generation on this land. I am a passionate reader and vegan who loves animals, hiking, yoga and nature but also enjoys living close enough to a major city to enjoy theater, museums and culture often.

**WE ARE CLOSING 26 FEB INDEFINITELY DUE TO PCS** Over 4200 square feet of Astroturf play area conveniently located adjacent to the BWI airport (less than a 5 min Uber ride away). The yard is surrounded by wooden privacy fencing so your pups can focus on playing! Astroturf provides a soft, plush, clean surface so even wet dogs don’t get dirty during their stay (perfect if you’re waiting on a flight or traveling with your pup). Aluminum gazebo to protect you from the elements, and a separate covered sitting area to keep guests shaded. Space is equipped with agility equipment including an a-frame, adjustable jump, tunnel, agility stakes, and back tie. The space also has various toys, and a metal tug toy assembly in the tree (use provided rope toy or bring your own toy to hook into it). If coordinated in advance (and with owner supervision) you can even use the slat mill for an extra physical challenge. If you’re bringing a young puppy out please message us directly so we can put out the ball pit. The space is equipped to be used in the dark and has many solar motion activated lights along the fence, solar lights on the pergola, and a lit walkway leading up to the gate. We also have a rechargeable lantern for extra bright lighting! The best travel companion is a happy/tired pet. When the weather is nice- you may see some neighbors on your way in and may hear them while in the yard. You may also hear the normal neighborhood noises and the occasional cluck of a chicken (there are 🐓 next door; however, the privacy fence is slated, the fence is over 8ft tall, and the turf is on a hard rock pack so they aren’t super visible and they’d be EXTREMELY hard to get to). No dogs live in the yards adjacent to the fence so you rarely hear barking; however, we occasionally take in reactive board and trains. In the extremely rare case one of our houseguests barks and disturbs your peace during the visit let us know and we will make it right. The small red cooler typically has water for the humans! Please help yourselves! Please no smoking 🚭 anywhere on the property. Cigarettes could damage our turf (extremely expensive to fix) and poison dogs.
