Our facility is equipped with exciting agility equipment, perfect for energetic pups who love to jump, climb, and explore. Whether you’re working on obedience or teaching your dog new tricks, our training areas are designed to encourage learning and fun. And for those hot days or water-loving dogs, we’ve got a refreshing pool to help your dog cool off and enjoy some water play! We understand that every dog has unique needs, which is why we offer separated play yards for safe, controlled socialization. For dogs who prefer their own space or need a little more privacy, our retriever kennels are available, ensuring comfort and peace of mind during their stay. At Give the Dog a Bone, we strive to create a warm, welcoming environment where your dog can feel at home—whether it’s for training, a fun playdate, or a restful stay. Come visit us and let your dog experience the best in care, training, and play!

No off leash dogs outside of building, we are located on a busy road. Vaccinated dogs only. Please be respectful of our equipment or clients in outdoor runs.

We have 2 fully fenced acres in the back yard, along with an acre not fenced in, but available for sniffing! The front yard is also open, with about .75 acres. Located on the river road in Donaldsonville, you’re able to walk the levee and the bank of the river. The fenced in backyard includes flowers, plants, chicken coop (for sniffing), plenty of trees, and lots of open room to run! We have three dogs so there will be plenty of smells for yours! There is a shaded patio area for the humans to relax, along with a kiddie pool for dogs (or kids). There is an in ground pool, with a safety fence around it. The pool will only be available in the summer months. If bringing children, there are plenty of toys and a playground! We hope to see you soon!
