There you’ll find dog-friendly patios, cute shops, and maybe a few friendly faces who’ll tell you you’re a very good pup - a - roo! 🥰 Or trot over to Proctor Park, about a minute away for a lovely leashed nature walk filled with new smells and plenty O’ squirrel & chippy sightings. 🐿️ 🛁 Post-Beach Pup Spa Sandy after your splash at Presqu’ile? No worries! During the summer we’ve got a hose with shower and sprinkler attachments so you can rinse and refresh before heading home. Just 15 minutes from the 401, our quiet escape is here for you and your pup(s) to roam free. Bit by bit, we are reclaiming forgotten trails and adding amenities that both you and your bffs can enjoy peacefully. We hope you enjoy the nature and beauty of our woods in rural Ontario! Future Plans: This summer (July/August 2026) we will expand by marking additional trails, a shelter / picnic area, an agility park and patches of Ontario wildflowers to add to your experience.

There are chickens behind a fully fenced area. There are 6 Muskoka chairs to sit in and relax while your dog plays.

***Charges in USD*** Come enjoy our 100 acre property with an established trail, a pond and a hilltop area with a picnic table, seating and fire pit. We are located only 10 minutes west outside of Peterborough. Our property is home to wildlife such as turkeys and deer - although it may be rare to spot them. **WINTER DISCLAIMER** Due to the size of our property, our trails are not plowed during the winter so we highly recommend wearing winter boots, spikes, snowshoes to enjoy the trails.

A washroom and running water are also available. It is located on a working farm so there may be people or vehicles in the area, but they won't interfere with those using the building.

Elysium Woods - A 28 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park near Stirling, ON

****IMPORTANT : all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD*** Come and enjoy a beautiful 1.5 km walk through mature oak and white pine forest in the Oak Hills. Our trail is wide, perfect to bring a friend and catch up while your dogs run. The trail is well-marked with excellent visibility to keep track of your dog(s). There is very little elevation gain on the walk, so it’s well-suited to take your dog(s) out for a run or a leisurely stroll. Deer sightings are common and you may even spot our resident owl or the bald eagles that nest nearby. Ample parking is available at the trail head and a Little Free Library is located at the end of our driveway. We are a short trip from both Belleville and Quinte West. *Price is in USD.
