***IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD*** Welcome to Goldenwood Acres! On our 26 acre hobby farm, we have a 6 acre fully fenced farm field/dog park. Ride up and park at the white barn, and walk your leashed puppers to the field past our chickens, gardens, woodlots, and ponds. From the barn to the dog park you will get familiar with our surroundings and other fences. There is access to the forest and two ponds on the property. Crossing through the tree line, you have private access to the 6-acre field. Four-foot tall fencing is installed for your security. Note in the Winter, we have removed the gate due to snow and maintenance. Gates will be installed during or right after the East Long Weekend. The best time to come is May to September. Come walk between the sunflower rows that grow up to 10 feet tall! We cut the field between the sunflowers, make trails and play spots. We also leave big areas untouched for our honeybees (hives located in the other field). Enjoy seeing natural landscapes, trees, and privacy. Have fun, play catch and let your animal have unleashed freedom! We have uploaded a printable "safety map" for each season, that contains a legend for your use. Note the fire pit is not available during the winter season (November to May). This season we will also be placing pinic tables with a BBQ for large groups. I recommend booking the summer weekends in advance as they will fill up fast! Fencing Details: The 6-acre Dog Park Field is permanently fenced with approximately 2,500 linear feet of 4’ tall farm fence. The farm fence consists of professionally installed 2” by 4” squares of wire mesh and 6” cedar posts (commonly used for smaller livestock such as sheep, donkey, cows, etc). There is on openings for the main gates that is currently open. The opening is 16’ wide. If you look at the photos you can see the locations of the gates on the main photo or on “safety map” (see photos and captions). We have more fencing on other parts of the property outside of our dog park in case your dog does not have good recall. Refer to the safety map (see photos). Please stay off of upper patio and trampoline and out of sheds, however, bring a basketball to shoot some hoops! There is street parking readily available on both sides of the street. Please don’t allow dogs to bark excessively but do make sure they have fun! Hose available for water, and kiddie pool if you like!

Hello and thank you for your interest with Alpha Canine Farm! Our new 29 acre farm is home to our lovely dog training facility where we offer training and boarding. We have a 2900 SQ FT indoor facility available for your use, as well as an outdoor ring space. Other amenities available to you are fresh water on-site and even a Bluetooth speaker to enjoy while using the indoor space! Rain or Shine you can show your dog a good time! 🐕 We are in the process of providing more obstacle course equipment for your enjoyment. ***Charges are in USD*** We at BHS understand that letting your dog run and play is so important! But some dogs aren't suitable for dog parks or social areas. Our private, fully fenced half acre yard is the perfect place to let your (reactive or otherwise) dog just be a dog and get some freedom! Please check in at the front desk to get the key to the yard, and clean up after yourself. There are water bowls in the yard, but please bring your own water. There are trees providing shady areas throughout the day. If bringing back the key when we are not open, please put it in the Mailbox, located beside our Front Doors. When we are open, our receptionists will gladly take the key back from you! All the fees go directly to the animals in our case, and we are a registered charity and no-kill shelter. Beautiful fully fenced in backyard with giant beautiful tree in the middle with lots of shade in the warmer months. Back fence covered by gardens and bushes on the side along the fence. Big beautiful deck to sit on.

The reservations are private, no one can book at the same time as you. YOU are responsible for cleaning up after your pets. Other dogs will be within view from the field, but will not enter. We host a beekeeper who has about 40 hives on a well-marked and avoidable section of one trail. The bees won't be out until April but please avoid the hives anyway.
