55We had a great time visiting this Sniffspot. The area was nice and quiet, and the property was beautiful. There are plenty of different trails to go down. My dog absolutely loved it and we can't wait to come back. I would recommend wearing waterproof footwear as some places were fairly wet or muddy due to the season.
55We were visiting from out of province and this was the perfect spot for decompression walks. My dog especially loved the marsh and pond. As to be expected in early spring, there was mud in places, so waterproof footwear would be useful. We went twice because it was such a lovely place. Would definitely return.
55This was only our second time going to this sniffspot, but my dog made herself at home right from the get-go. She happily ran around the trails, and enjoyed getting herself muddy. Since I’m not so found of getting muddy, I appreciated the stepping stones in the muddiest parts😀. I now have a very happy, very tired (and dirty) dog, but n complaints here. Much more fun than walking the city streets. I also appreciate the owner’s blogspot, where they get us up to date on what they are doing to the trails.
55Great place! He provided a map, great signage, easy to get too!!! We really enjoyed 🙂
55A beautiful network of trails!
55We had a fantastic time! The trails were well maintained and the owner met us upon arrival with a map of the trails, which was a great touch. It was a great experience, would highly recommend!
55 Awesome
55Property is well taken care of. Nice trails, garbage disposal at trail head, can’t with for the spring and the nicer weather to spend more time here.
55Awesome spot our favorite!! Been many times.
55Our pups had an incredible time exploring Martin’s trails. The trails were easy to navigate, well marked and exactly what we expected based on the description provided. The views were beautiful and it felt very secluded and safe. We felt very comfortable having our 3 dogs off leash in this setting. Martin was also kind enough to come greet us and answer any questions. Would absolutely recommend this spot to any guests looking for a great hike.

Description

***IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD*** With big wide open trails, forest, marsh, creeks and wildlife, this doggy paradise is attracting visitors from all over southern Ontario. Trail map is found here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1do57Iq23GVfcDxiEGihv7dVUWFXBSrGq/view?usp=drive_link Trails are open, mowed and maintained all year long. We host a beekeeper who has about 40 hives on a well-marked and avoidable section of one trail. The bees won't be out until April but please avoid the hives anyway. Read the reviews to get a good sense for what kind of experience you will have. We are grateful for all the positive feedback and pledge to make your experience just as fantastic.

Hazards

This spot has a water feature, make sure to review these guidelines for visiting spots with water before visiting: https://help.sniffspot.com/article/167-how-to-keep-your-dog-safe-around-pools-and-water Bee hives on one trail - they don't like small dogs! Easy to avoid, well marked. Bees aren't active in fall and winter, but stay away from the hives anyway. We live out in the country and there are coyotes. They are very shy, and if you stay on or near the trails you will never see them. Avoid dusk or early morning if this is a concern for you. The west side cutover from Meadow to Black Walnut can be up to a foot deep.

I love to ski, so I cut a lot of trails. My dog Teddy is a shy but friendly Shitzu-Poodle mix who likes to go on long walks. Teddy and I are happy to share the trails with other dogs.
