55Very simple instructions tos get in and my dogs had an absolute blast. There was so much space for my dogs to run around and I didn’t have to worry about other animals or them running out in the road. Definitely recommend this Sniffspot!
55Great spot for the dogs to run! Lots for them to explore
55Lots of places to explore.
55It was such a great experience! Our dog is pretty reactive so we are so glad that we got to relax and enjoy a walk out in nature. (The chickens and cats were a great way to get our dog exposed to other animals in a safe environment.) We all had a great time on the property. Very peaceful!!
55Nice orchards for the dogs to run around in! We read the other reviews and took the road next to the ditch to access the orchards without having to greet the dogs past the cats and chickens in the main house/drive way. Thanks! the dogs had a blast.
55It was absolutely beautiful, plenty of space. I would be aware of bees, saw 2 workers but other than that it was just us. Definitely going again!
55Our dogs had a great time exploring.
55Near the far back corner of the property we did see a medium-large white dog on the adjacent property that I’m not sure was contained so we avoided that area. There are beehives but the bees didn’t bother us and we gave the hives space. Interesting to see beekeeping! When you pull into the main driveway at the house there’s chickens around so be careful if your dogs would go after chickens. A better way to access the walkable area is a dirt road that goes into the orchard area. You can pull off from Dover avenue to a dirt road that runs alongside the “riverside ditch” (as it’s labeled in google maps). From that point there wasn’t any sight or sound of the chickens. There is a restroom but it’s a portable. There is a canal / ditch, at pretty much every point it’s sloped enough that any dog that might go in could get out. No water while we were there. There’s also some sharp farming machinery stored out there that could cut a dog or person if they’re oblivious. I’m not complaining at all, just want others to know what I noted. We plan to be back in the future!
55We loved this spot! We made the drive from NE Fresno and it was definitely worth it. There's lots to explore and the owners of the property are very friendly. My two dogs are seniors and can only handle about 45 minutes of romping around, but I would highly recommend booking up to 2 hours here if you have a young dog full of energy! We stayed close to (what I think was) the river. There wasn't any water in it, but my dogs had a blast munching on the bank grass, wading through the muddier spots, and smelling all the smells. We did see two dogs on the back end of the property while we were driving around looking for the river - one was a doodle and the other probably some kind of kelpie mix. They looked well fed & groomed, so I would assume they were a neighbor's dogs. We use SniffSpot because my German Shepherd has severe dog-directed aggression and finding conducive forms of exercise for him is hard. We found an area further away from the property line and didn't run into them again! Just something to be aware of if your dog has similar issues 🙂
55Nice spot! My dog loved all the smells and being able to run off lead. If you have a reactive dog this is a great spot to visit as its remote and there were no other people/dogs. There is a fairly busy road near the property and it is not fully fenced so be sure to watch out for that. There were cats that remained close to the home and those were the only other animals I saw the entire time. My dog loved this spot I cant wait to take her again.
